Ravi, of course gave Malayali films his music, was not a Malayali; he was from Delhi. I am a diehard fan of Ŕavi’s music. No other music director in film industry gave so much hit songs as Ravi gave. Another renowned music director Khayyam once remarked that if one is asked to choose best 500 songs among Hindi movies, irrespective of music directors, out of them, you will be surprised to know, nearly 100 would be invariably from only one music director and that would be Ŕavi! Really a great tribute. And Ŕavi was and still is worth of it.
