I am a disabled veteran . I want to work , but I am disabled . I was a certified truck driver, certified welder, I was good with a hammer and I was a musician . So it would be mentally satisfying to be productive .
I loooove working from home. Get it all done in a few days/weeks and then just relax(run errands) for the next 2-3 days. Looooove it!

100%. I love working from home too. I’m most productive in my own habitat and schedule. But now yrs later I started a hybrid job. 😅
I live in a very rural place and currently commute almost 2 hrs one way for my job...I'm so looking forward to starting my remote work!
How happy you are working from home definitely is influenced by what your home is like (e.g. having noisy kids, siblings, parents around etc. will make it frustrating; living alone will make it feel isolating etc.). I hated working from home while I used to live with my parents but now that I live with my husband I love it. I've kept my 'getting ready routine', so am always dressed and fed before logging on which helps put my mind in the 'office' mindset. You're right- I definitely work longer hours now that I'm at home as my job is so busy, so I want to grab every available minute of my day to try and get things ticked off my to do list. Overall, I definitely prefer working from home because im an introvert/ ambivert 🙂
I love working from home. It is easier and I have the freedom of working from anywhere

I’m an introvert who longed for home working and never got it the only staff member that didn’t get it from office side.
I see many complain about returning to office 3 days a week but they always worked there prior to covid. Our office has gone crazy over all the staff that won’t work on site anymore.
I'd like one that could be done over phone or like a laptop so I can take it with me while getting out of town for a day or two, because as of now I'm cleaning toilets at Walmart and getting told the walls aren't shiny enough...

Thanks for your videos on Digital Marketing (which i'm trying to get into) and on Remote Work I've been working remotely for more than 10 years due to health reasons. The downside is that it's hard to find a ful-time job, especially here in the Philippines as many companies seem to think working remotely isn't a full-time job. :(
Thanks Gerard! I totally know what you mean about remote work not being perceived seriously. I had a similar experience when I lived in Turkey and was working remotely. Many people including family members thought I didn’t have a job! 🙈🙄 I believe it will change.

I just received an offer for a wfh position, but I also received an offer for an office job. I am having trouble deciding which one to start.

Hello, what tips do you have for landing a remote job?
All the usual tips (check my interview and linkedin videos) + show that you’re prepared and experienced working async with different time zones, are comfortable with project management tools, have self discipline. Most companies state whether a job posting is remote or hybrid or on site so not much needed to add on where to look for these opportunities.

Under no circumstances do staff work more at home we cannot get work from staff at home. On site staff do it. Real world has to kick back in.
