@mokou enjoyer Plaque buildup, makes the gums sensitive. It's good to continue brushing and it'll go away if you do it often and well enough. Assuming you haven't already looked this up lol.
@mokou enjoyer I'm no expert, but it's a matter of upkeep. Try to brush a proper 2 or 3 times a day, and if the bleeding persists or your gums are irritated regardless, you might need to look into setting up an appointment at a dentist office. Sorry m8

Back in the OlD dAyS sugar was an extreme luxury that only the rich ever had small amounts of.
The sugar feeds the bacteria that lives on our teeth and makes them produce acid that damages our teeth, feudal japan would have no need of toothbrushes and toothpaste because the overwhelming amount of peoples diets consist of rice, fish, assorted vegetables and the like. The only access to sugar people would have is fruit.

Now I find brushing my own teeth quite boring.
I love the idea that Marisa crashes at places like the Hakurei Shrine and maybe even the Scarlet Devil Mansion so much that she just has her toothbrush and toothpaste there because "meh, I'm probably gonna spend the night there eventually."
I think it would be possible with Marisa's connections.
Of course, Patchouli who always grumbles at Marisa, would be the favorite.
Reimu stores toothbrushes in her armpits. R34 artists everywhere are already hard at work.
