Kind of funny that the first sample photos are all blurry, considering that the biggest feature is the new image stabilization. But cool pictures, don't get me wrong haha
If you’re referring to the images about a minute into the video, they are demonstrating use of a long shutter speed to get motion blur effect. IBIS is actually useful for this effect as well.
felt the same way :P it was like hearing "amazing images" - but seeing shaky cam footage xD - I understand there was artistic intent behind the shots, and I'm not saying they're bad - in fact, they were very cool and interesting! But it's just that they're not necessarily the poster child of what people say when they mean an "amazing shot".
In retrospect, I should have worded myself better 😂 Like someone else mentioned, IBIS does assist in capturing the slow shutter effect in most of these images, but I can acknowledge that this style is experimental and does not always show a camera’s capabilities on a technical level.
@@moses.aureliusdude this review is everything to me, we have a similar shooting style so i’m extremely happy to have finally found someone who’s using it the same way i would. the ibis was extremely useful in these images! it’s so nice to see some character in a sea of clinically clean x100VI reviews.
Wow I love blurry photography. It’s a style that I seek but can never get right. Have you heard of Tom Jacobs? He does something similar with bird photography
It’s a very difficult technique, I still find myself struggling to achieve the look on some days I’m shooting. But when you get even 1 image perfected, it makes it all worth it. I haven’t heard of Tom Jacobs but I’ll definitely check him out 👌

Lets go! What a masterpiece 👏
Thanks Wil 😊
I love those drag shutter photos! So moody!!! Was IBIS on for those?
Thank you. Yes, I did have IBIS on for every slow-shutter photo
This is great, I was thinking of getting this camera. I now feel very well informed and will likely buy! Your art is also very cool, I am a fan
Glad to help and thanks for the kind words 🙏
love your style, very impressionistic. blur with intention can be very cool and evocative
Thank you, it’s a style I’ve been working on for the past 6-8 months now. I’m glad you like it 😊

Dude your name is awesome. Very historic... part prophet part philosopher.
Appreciate it, they're both very significant inspirations in my work
Thank you moses ❤
