My Aunt Reacts to EVERY Character in Genshin Impact

- Genshin Impact has a large number of characters at this point. Since my aunt was visiting for a couple days, I had her sit down, react to, and give her opinion of every character in Genshin so far (pre 2.8).
The audio isn't the best, just because two people trying to share one mic isn't the ideal recording setup, but hopefully you're still able to hear her reactions and commentary after all the editing.

As a fun fact, when you fully charge Lisa's E her expression turns devilish, her grip on the lightning over her head becomes noticeably tighter, and the Skies go DARK with a thundering storm
Razor also turns the Sky Dark if you hold his E, which makes it fun since Lisa thought him some combat training stuff
Partially unrelated but Kokomi's burst also darken the skies. I like to think it is because her halo is too bright so our "eyes" accommodate to this light and therefore darkens the rest a bit
Beidou also turns the skies dark if you parry perfectly or get 2 or more hits on the parry shield before releasing
@@ShinigamiRC38 It also gives the sky a nice blue colour reminiscent of the deep sea. Her burst also causes the ground to look like flowing water.

I’m pretty sure Amber creates the baron bunny by herself, I think Klee says she really likes the baron bunny because it’s explosive, and pretty sure Noelle in her hangout said that Amber herself made the baron bunny as well.

I think Alice conceived the Baron Bunny and probably taught Amber how to use and make it, but I may be wrong

Yeah the Baron Bunny is Amber's original creation and she uses her pyro vision to control it and make it explode. Noelle helped Amber make some at one point

Rosaria Lore: The Church of Favonius were the only ones accepting Rosaria after Varka brought her to Mondstadt. She isn't against church and the gods and she actually believes in their existence. It's the worshipping part that's foreign to her
She'd be like "Sure, gods are real, and? Why are you asking them for help? Help yourself."

More to her lore: when she was child her parents were killed by bandits and she was raised by the same bandits for killing. Then verka took her in and she was given the choice to live a normal life but she refused and wanted to do the same line of work(killing/assassination)
So Varka said he would let her do the dirty work of the knights of favonius undercover and in public's eye she has to be a sister of the church. Nobody in game knows this other than varka, Jean, kaeya and diluc.

I think Itto and his gang is less of a take on yakudza and more of a rebelious street gang of delinquents. His idle animation where he fixes his hair is very "delinquent youth" thing.
They kinda remind me of Team Skull from Pokemon, just nicer. I guess both groups are just inspired by the delinquents, but "ya boy" Itto and "ya boy" Guzma, as well as Kuki and Plumeria give me pretty similar vibes.
Yeah the yakuza are much more uniform and serious since they tend to wear suits all the time and have specific tattoos and it’s a very scary business

Yeah, Itto is the classic anime/manga trope of "the delinquent who is actually just a nice guy but still gets into all sorts of trouble".
Interesting detail about Noelle: the reason why she can't pass the Knights of Favonius exam is because Jean keeps changing it on her, not because she lacks confidence. They don't want her to become a full knight because they're afraid she'll get herself in a situation where she doesn't ask for help and get hurt as she has in the past, since she's very stubborn (this is why she's a geo element and not anemo, like Jean)

On the question of who Fischl cosplays, she's cosplaying the character Fischl from her favorite book series, Flowers for Princess Fischl. You can buy the first book in Inazuma. The character in the book also has a talking raven companion named Oz. Basically, Amy's parents were rarely home, and she used to play pretend as Princess Fischl with her father when he was around, so she has fond memories of the character. Some of her only good memories with her parents were of her playing pretend with them when they were actually home, so she clings to that.

I'm glad this video is actually quiet nice to watch, because a lot of the times these "Familymember reacts to X" videos are incredible cringy and feel so forced. But this is so wholesome.

The aunt sound versed in alternative styles. Probably because, being in an aunt age of someone in his 20s, she remembers the 80s and 90s subcultures well. You couldn’t escape them in those decades, goth/punk kids just had a very prominent presence irl.
1:32 I can confirm your aunt is correct, in parts of Scotland a child is called a 'bairn' mostly the east coast, in the west coast its called a 'wean'. Also 10/10 for her pronunciation!

Sometimes I just go afk, then suddenly I hear things like, "looks like all the other knights already have their hands full," and "C'mon, let's get moving - we're not frozen in place, after all," and "I didn't know you were such a slacker 😒" every five seconds. It gets annoying after a while because I usually just stay still, and I don't turn off my volume much because I have a goldfish brain.

So apparently the terrible pronounciation from Fischl is intentional since Amy basically roleplays the fictional character Fischl from the books. As far as I know, the English VA can properly pronounce German words and voice acting has kinda broken German pronounciation intentionally. I could be wrong

The fact she pinpointed Venti's outfit as austrian is very telling for the quality of these designs.
I once watched a vid of a character artist reacting to Genshin designs, and he pinpointed everything down to their personality traits just based on the looks. Character design is a language of sorts, if you know how to read it you’ll read a whole story in each of Genshin designs, because they’re very well thought out. When that guy saw Barbara he literally said “she has like ‘come on, we can do this!’ attitude”, effectively 100% guessing a voiceline from the design

Lisa isn't weak, with over 1000% scaling on hold Q, but she is situational, and well yh her C6 makes her busted because of it, tho hard to get.

Just way too clunky to use. You have to stack on the enemies for the highest damage AND charge it up for sooo long for the final hit.

Wait, I thought the red ropes on Shenhe just suppressed her emotions so she wouldn’t be so aggressive. If it’s suppressing her power and she froze a tsunami while suppressed, I feel like lore-wise she has to be one of the most powerful characters in the game.
i mean... she moved a rock that was several tons even while floating so yeah... she is super strong but i could say the same about noelle because wierdly enough the description says she can destroy her swords if she doesnt imbue them so i would think that shenhe and noelle are two non magical characters with the most strength one because of a curse and the other because maids are just built different he he also little funfact noelle has the same force as a lawachurl and those are said to level mountains so that is another clue to her strength

Noelle would’ve already been a knight but unfortunately Jean says she is scared that she might me too empathetic and get herself hurt. (Evidence is in one of kaeya’s voice lines (I think) saying that during the stormterror incident he had to gather around some errands inside the city walls because she wanted to go out and help with stormterror. Another one is during her story dialogue it says she went all the way to dragon spine to save an adventurer, got hypothermia and was sick in bed for 3 days straight. Evidence #3 is in jeans dialogue talking abt Noelle. And the last one is in her troubles voice line when she went all the way to liyue and was out for so long that Jean was convinced that she got gobbled up by storm terror lol. All this is coming from a Noelle main so I know a lot lol)
