the ' declined your coop request ' is something i see all the time when trying to have fun in coop, looking for someone to accept coop is mostly taking longer than the coop itself, hahah
It doesn't help that they made coop so... disruptive. Like half the things in the game (quests) just stop working when playing on coop... about the only time I let people into my world is during the last few minutes of my session, when I'm done with everything and just sorting out artifacts or procrastinating whatever I have to do after, and usually just to let people grab whatever materials they need for their characters. Also doesn't help there's not that much to do together, it's not like there's some kind of coop dungeon to explore or some guild system to chill like other games... A lot of the activities presented by the article sound like really grasping at straws (and good on Java for actually pulling off something kind of interesting out of a suggested activity as mundane as using the chat lol)...
@@kvendyIt is mostly Russians, French and Spanish who dont speak good english. I often look out for typical names and signatures before joining a random. Northern part of Europe is 99% of the time good with english.

I would say achievements is probably one of the more fun things to do. Me and a friend once spent hours trying to collect as many secret achievements as possible, and the time just flew by. Probably one of the most fun things I have done with friends, oh and taking stupid pictures when we lag out and stuff.
For completing challenges, there are ones that aren't denoted by a time-trial marker. In Liyue, there's this girl that if you follow a certain dialogue option with her in her different locations, it'll activate a time trial. In Inazuma, kid Kujirai lets you play remark with other when you complete 3 games with him on your own. Those are the only two I can think of though
Wish they were a little more "constant" but I don't like 'forcing' videos just for the sake of uploading. I try to only record when I have a concrete video idea. But I'm glad to hear they give you a little mental reprieve. Life can be exhausting sometimes, but you got this 💪🏻
one of my personal fav thing to do in coop when im bored is to play hide and seek. I person I joined quite a while ago introduced it to me, where you cover your mini map, set boundaries, then just take turns hiding and seeking lol. its such a simple game but ive spent a whole afternoon doing this before.
That's kinda like the game that kid plays in inazuma (haven't been there in awhile and forgot his name). It's the kid that hides the ball and you look for it. After completing it, you can do it in multiplayer and one person hides it while another gets to look for it. Sorry, I know this is an old comment but just one of those things seems like people know about, but forget about it an never try it so just reminding anyone who sees this afterwards lol

My first windtrace was very fun My second windtrace was ehhh For me it would be 1- Doing Windtrace For The FIRST time 2- Doing The Custom Domain Event 3- Exploring GAA during the rerun (It was my first one)
The reason why Xianlings bear doesn't work on pressure plates is because it jumps. It would be the same for you if you stood on it and kept jumping. However Ambers bunny doesn't jump it dances and spins while always touching the plate.
My most exciting coop experience was roleplaying with a Wanderer main who joined my world. I was Venti, but we were role playing a completely different story with us being married and having Martha as a our long lost friend and Jim who killed her but she lived - you can see it was a complete mess but that was the part of the fun!
Did you know, when someone responds 7/10, it means that they don't want to hurt your feelings. It's like a safe average. So if you say "Can you rate [whatever] from 1 to 10 BUT you can't rate it a 7?" If they downgrade it, like a 6 or 6.5 then they didn't like it that much. If they upgrade it, so like 8, it means they did like it. Or they're just being nice :)
Exploration could literally be the most fun thing to do in co-op if: A. It didn't prevent the one who joins from opening chests or get rewards in general. B. Every npc (like vendors and crafters) or most world quests weren't locked so you could actually do them together.
Omg... I just did that co-op heart chest achievement not too long ago, had no clue there was a pin wheel to get over there. 1st attempt I spawned on dragonspine and flew all the way over before realizing I needed another person, and when someone finally joined I spawned on top og dragonspine again and flew back over there and it took forever 😂😭
to be honest i think the chat function IS one of the main ways to make co op fun if you can find people you vibe with and can joke with then it makes it super fun. or just if you get into an interesting convo about genshin or something!
Here is an actual fun things to do in co op: TCG match with random teams, Windtrace, Fighting domain bosses withVERY underleveled characters, and tank everything

Fishing in Genshin co-op is more fun if you're hunting for glitches! I personaly love fishing and found 2 nearly back to back. Usualy, the host has to be doing some sort of quest that at least moves the camera at some point. The Stary Night quest and The Falcons Hunt quest are the ones I know mess with the camera if you're fishing. The former even making your fishing rod dissapear.
The funniest thing we did in coop with my friends was going near Deshret's pyramid, in the back where there's the small hole from which you enter the underground part, and just follow around the Fatuus with the caravan of sumpter beasts without being seen by any of them.
The most fun I had was when me and 2 other people in Co-op did the Dragonspine quest "thaw out the ice shard". We were awake 2am to 6am doing that. Easily the most fun I had. We also had two photos together, the first one looked like Diluc was pointing at the spot we took the photo in. Sadly I do not have that anymore but lockdown was peak.
for no 5 complete challenges part, I think you could have done a co-op sword/spells-only challenge type thing like go into co-op and challenge them to only use swords/spells to complete dailies or bosses ^^

Some iconic things you can do to have fun in random co-op are taking people to love island using Kaeya, playing songs on instruments for them (if you have the skill for it,) and joining their world to tell them dad jokes then leaving

I think the second challenges section is talking about permanent timed trials, not the limited ones that are depicted with those red symbols. The only example I can think of is an NPC named Daisy who you can find around Liyue. I only know 2 spots you can find her, as I don't tend to explore much. Those 2 spots are in the fields of Qingce Village just a bit away from the building in those fields, and a short distance away from the Mingyun Village Statue of the Seven, southwest on the map

I think the complete challenges are like the amber game, kaeya game and etc Amber game: you run around at 1 HP on the grass and try to burn each other and who ever dies loses Kaeya game: you go in a lake and the person playing as kaeya tries to stay on the water by freezing with his e while the other playing plays as amber and tries melting the bridge, they have 5 minutes. If the kaeya manages to stay up after 5 minutes they win, if they don’t because amber melts the bridge, amber wins.
I actually really enjoy chatting in Co-op I’d give it an 8! Same for most things, I like hearing what people say and all sorts of stuff. One time I talked to a teenager for awhile about what they were looking to do in the future for jobs and just other general stuff. (No private info of corse) and in the end I had to pry them out of my world cause it was nearing 4 am for me and 3 is my cut off, and it was like 6 am for them XD. They didn’t want me to tell them they needed their full 8 to 9 hours. (Also they were on break otherwise I’d done it when I heard it was so late it was early for them). And we didn’t fried each other, just gone to the wind! It’s fun. Fun fact the Sumeru tavern has my favorite atmospheric music in the whole game, I like sitting with the voice volume low and just exist, have people join my world, help em out/let them gather mats, and Meybe chat,

Well, i for example have every region on 100%. Exploring with a low AR player is not only an opportunity to revisit places i havent been to in a while, but i can also help them with stuff i struggled with in the past. Plus doing stuff together is more fun then doing stuff alone. ^^

I think challenging artifact domains is the MOST fun AND beneficial thing you can do in coop because it goes ALOT faster when someone is helping
As someone who also hasn't completed the aranara quest I feel your pain java.

I think exploring teyvat is very cool in co-op especially when going to special areas not on the map

I can imagine myself how person would ask wanna do some world quest and i will be like " Uh... I did all my world quests (hangouts too)"
I saw a person called SwordsOnly and thought that was you, then went ended up explaining who Java was while still wondering if it was you, then after this video I realize I would've known because of the way you talk in co-op

Well, i for example have every region on 100%.
Exploring with a low AR player is not only an opportunity to revisit places i havent been to in a while, but i can also help them with stuff i struggled with in the past.
Plus doing stuff together is more fun then doing stuff alone. ^^
