Should of used a Aqua roll and fitted a insulated jacket around the container. We went to Boroughbridge CCC site. Water pipes were frozen on the campsite, But using the insulated Aqua roll we had no problem, fully serviced site is a good thing to Use but not when the temperatures are in minus figures. Cannot beat the old fashioned Aqua roll
Enjoyed seeing little Georgie this week. ❤never forget the winter of 2009/10 spent in a caravan. It was that cold even the duvet froze. Caravans have advanced so much since then. Great video xx
Hi Tony and Deb, have you thought of using swim noodles around your water pipe. They will insulate and also lift your pipe of the floor. Luv watching you guys. X
Hi Tony & Deb, It seems the newer the caravan the more things seem to break and fail, the quality of the fittings on new Van's is appalling. You spend thousands and you expect to get your moneys worth. Have you considered a small electric fan heater for the bathroom ? A 1000w fan heater run for an hour soon defrosts the bathroom and toilet. We use one when we first set up, its marvellous 👍 Thanks for all the videos over the season and hope you and yours have a great Christmas and Happy New Year 👌🍻🤝
Hi Richard we've got a little fan heater and didn't even think of it to be honest 🙈 once the van warmed up it was fine. I usually turn the heating on from home before we set off with the swift command, but for some reason it wasn't working 😕 Thanks for your comment and all the best to you and your family 👍
Another good video. We love watching you guys. We didn’t go to our van this weekend because of the weather and pipes being frozen. Have a lovely week. X
Agree with your disappointment over Christmas Market. The one in Liverpool is pretty much the same, mainly food & drink stalls. I had expected more craft & gift stalls. Love the vlogs, very entertaining 👍🏻
It’s -4 here in Ireland at the moment so we put heating on in our Elddis caravan parked in back garden just to keep everything warm enjoying watching you and Debs as usual on a cold Sunday night have a good one
Hiya... its very chilly I just admit BUT if we could be at our caravan pitch right now I would be lol... I miss it so much and as long as you have heating I would love it....the weeks can't go by fast enough for the new season for me lol... take care both ...'The Camp Caravanners'
Good point about the pond and ice local area to us some kids we think have gone through the ice emergency services are there now pulled out but in critical condition.
Glad you survived the bloody freezing temperatures. Would you say hello to us, Paul and Steve from Shipley. We love you vlogs. Love to you both Paul and Steve xx
@@thecaravanaddys Thank you very much, we drained it all down etc now for winter but awning was too wet to put down< may have to risk leaving it up. Col
_2.5 that's nothing, we used to go to Scotland over Xmas & new year in our caravan and stop in aviemore one year in the 1980s we wear there when it was -27.5 yes - 27.5 that's the coldest ever recorded in the british Isles and our van back then didn't have mains electricity, we jusy had a very large propane bottle. Now that's what you call cold !.
@@thecaravanaddys not only no mains electricity but the first time we went to this site in the Highlands the warden came up to us & said ho haven't you staked your van down, we've had vans blow over hear in the past 😱. So it was off to the local blacksmith for some angle iron to secure the van down. Quite common to get 90 mile an hour gusts of wind. 😨😱🎅🎄

Thank you!!! Keep warm, it’s brass monkeys!!! X
A ball ache hahaha not heard that in ages. You should start a food TH-cam channel. "The Kebab Addys"
Don't give him ideas 😂
@@thecaravanaddys I’ve been “workshopping” the idea and I think Kebabaddys is a better name. I have too much time in my hands, I know 🤣
You really do Graham 😂😂
We were gonna head over to donkey creek this weekend. But with the weather we didn't.
It was freezing 🥶
Ah George is such a cutie, lovely young man x
