Thank for a great tutorial - I'm encouraged to give it another go - I used a too small dual form and I squished the first time!! I'll use my practice hand next time and keep practicing as I do think its great stuff xx
It is just practice practice I've found over time I've worn them which is since begin of Jan my application is getting so much better my current nails have been on a week with no lifting
I was going to do something like that just patch the area which I have done on myself but as I was using dual forms I was unsure if a second layer would work but now I do so thank you. Xx
This is the best dual form/gum gel tutorial I have seen, very well explained and detailed. I’m curious to know if you have tried the new iNails Express system or Apres Gel X system, and if so, what do you think?
Thank you. As for the other systems I've only heard of the apres gel from another follower but it's $35 shipping fee for me which I will not pay. If you go to my gelor nails flexigel video my latest video there's a lady called Sam hugh she's been using it and left some comment. Maybe comment to her message and she might give you some further information. Thank you for watching. Xx
It looks straight forward after watching your video. I have not had success. After curing for 2min under UV, when I try to remove nail tip the whole things lifts off. I have been very careful with cleaning so want to know where I am going wrong.
Ok I can give some pointers on the bluesky gum gel. 1. Are you preparing the nail completely by using a 180 grit nail file to remove the surface shine. 2. It could be that your lamp being uv isn't curing it right. Most gel products like the uv/led lamps, I cure mine in a 96w lamp for 60secs, I've also used 48w and cures fine. 3. Are you using basecoat and is it bluesky, if you use different brands together they might not work well together. 4. It could be that the bluesky gum gel isn't suited to your nails, not everyone can use all gel products. Everyone has different nail beds, you could try just added some to your nail without the dual form, cure and see if it comes off. Personally I'm not a fan of dual forms, they dont make a structural sound nail. These are what I feel are the most common issues with gel products, hopefully one of them is what's causing the nail to come off. Xx
Hi, I have a question about this process. I am completely new to doing nails, but bought this gym gel to use on myself. I’m not having problems with creating the tip (other than things I am hoping to refine over time) BUT after I finished the whole nail keeps falling off.. literally the same day. Do you know what could cause this? I do not have some of the products you use as I just use what came in my Mylee pro starter kit. So I start the nail by buffing the nail to remove shine and then applying a base coat, and then I place the dual form with the gym gel on. When the nails fall off they are falling off with the gel on too! Thanks in advance and thanks for the video! Xxxx
Ok I want to start of by saying not all nail products suit everyone. The other thing I will say is that over time I've tried different base coat other than the bluesky one and when I'm not using it I have issues like lifting etc. When buffing really make sure your scratching the surface of the nail and also try really to rub the first layer of base coat into the nail surface then apply a second as normal. A few things to check for and you might already do these and that you have none touching the skin with the product and that's underneath the nail as well as this can make the nail lift off, also make sure your curing really well if your mylee lamp isn't powerful enough it wont cure it right I'm not sure what the wattage is on the mylee pro. From what you are saying your doing everything right, the only thing I would maybe try first of is a dehydrator and primer the dehydrator will clean the nail and the primer will help will the product sticking to your nail. The second thing I would try is to apply some to your nail without the dual form and see if it's any different just over your natural nail with no extension. Also make sure your cleaning the nail before application but also make sure your nails arent over wet what I mean by this is the day i do my nails i wont get my hands really wet. Hope some of these might help you let me know if your still having problems and I'll try and think of some other things. Thank you very much for watching. Xx
Hi I love the video , I am new with the polygel , I bought URSUGAR , an I love it , I seen in your video I dealt with the same as you the color trying to get it even but you video helped a lot especially in the stress area I was applying to thin and then I’ll would break, Can you please tell me how I can by your flex finger , with the stand , and do you have it on a piece of ceramic tile
Ok first off ur sugar polygel is not polygel that is builder gel in a tube I have a tube and it's being sold as polygel when it clearly isn't. When purchasing the lower price polygel this is What a happening I've seen it with 3 different brands so far unfortunately to get the real polygel product you have to pay higher prices. My flexifinger is just on a kitchen tile that I purchase from a diy store it's great to have on in a nail kit. As for purchasing I'll leave the link for flexifinger you might find a stockist near you. Xx theflexifinger.com.au
In one of your tutorials you mentioned that you are allergic to the acrylics. Are you showing any signs of itching or swelling with this product? I also have allergies to acrylic and any type of glue/ resin (fiberglass). I would love to try this as an overlay on my natural nails but afraid to spend money on another product and have blisters, swelling and itching. I have been a nail tech for 25 years and can no longer work so I do just my nails now. Thank you for any help/ answers you can give.
I can honestly say I've had nothing. I do like to make sure that I wash my hands really well after I've finished filing. I was like yourself unsure about a new product and spending the money. I think it's more that it's the acrylic liquid I'm allergic to than the powder. Hope this helps I love being a tech couldn't imagine not doing. Xx
I’ve used blue sky gum gel for the last 8 weeks or so and I’ve produced some amazing results as a novice nail maker....sculpting with the metal re usable forms and I’ve had absolutely no lifting at all....( changing design every week or so) I really don’t rate the duel forms as they don’t seem to give the correct shape
I've been using since the 13th Jan and like yourself had amazing results highly rate the product. I've never used them metal forms for me they look painful. As a nail tech I'm not a fan of the dual forms I prefer my overlays but was sort of asked to do a video I managed to create a good nail using the dual forms but I think they can take away from sculpting a perfect nail. Thanks for watching. Xx
Great tutorial on how to apply with the dual forms. Another way to apply to not get that glob of gel underneath is to use nail forms instead of tips. Saw a vid of that.
Thanks hun. Yes I did see that I'm still working on getting a nail form to stick to my flexifinger it keeps popping off mid sculpt. I do prefer to sculpt than tip. Thanks for watching. Xx
Glitter Shine Nails, have you seen the Apres gel tip nail system? When I saw it, I had to have it, lol. Just got it in the mail yesterday and was so excited, I wanted to take off my enhancements and try it right then and there.
If you already have flexible nails gel is not a good fit for your nails as gel is aimed for those will hard ish nails which is why it lifts like crazy flexible and brittle nails need acrylic to prevent lifting etc
Well I've never heard that, if anything I've seen so many people tell people to use gel to strenghten there nails. Also there wouldn't be products like gel strenghten products on the market. This bluesky gum gel is hard like acrylic but cures like gel, my nails aren't brittle they got stronger when i was using builder gels before turning to acrygel's I can't wear acrylic I'm allergic to it.
Glitter Shine Nails I heard it from Natasha Lee one her videos mentions it the myths debunked one and same it brings out my eczema on my hands e en though I'm qualified in acrylic lol but can't actually wear acrylic myself
I personally don't watch her but I'll check out the video tho. I'm trained in gel because I'm allergic to acrylic, and this definitely wasn't in the training
Love the honesty as new to nails after a long break, giving it another try.
That's how I am honest, I try to be as helpful as I can. Thank you very much for watching. Xx

You can also just buff the nail and apply another layer with the dual form if you have thin spots or feel like your nail is too thin. Great tutorial!
I was going to do something like that just patch the area which I have done on myself but as I was using dual forms I was unsure if a second layer would work but now I do so thank you. Xx
ShinyPrettyz I go over it with thick or hard builder gel if there's any thin spots

Great tutorial thank you 😊 I just have one question. How do you remove them? Is it the same as acrylic or Sns where you use acetone?
If you go into my bluesky playlist I do have a video on how I remove them. But yes it's acetone soak. Thank you for watching. Xx
