Not really reducing migration and offsetting it by increasing student visa holders working hours to make sure no impact on suppressing wages.
No plan to develop our economy but just try and get a mining boom to happen to make up for problems.

OK, so if he really means it he should get us out of the UN and WHO and any other UN rubbish. Abandon the madness of "net zero" CO2 altogether and stop all construction of wind, solar, pumped hydro, big batteries. Build more reliable and affordable proper baseload generation capacity, including genuine investigation of nuclear. Wind back the red and green tape that is hampering any proper activity, and get this country back to actually producing what we need again.

How about immigration is capped at 50k a year until the average home price is less than 3 times the average salary. Honestly, I think we need to discourage investing in real estate as a wealth creation model. Tax investment properties, increase capital gains on property sales and lower capital gains on selling shares. People who have wealth should invest it in productive Australian businesses that create businesses and jobs rather than just investing in houses and apartments and rent seeking off of young Australians.

Dutton is stuck in the past by rehashing the old “ GREAT AUSTRALIAN DREAM” crap, patronising and offensive to thinking Australians. The facts are that in most other countries home ownership is not a big deal. High density public housing with subsidised rents are the way forward if Australia wants a much bigger population .
The car dependent suburban wasteland sprawling around all Australian cities is very expensive to build and maintain , it destroys the natural environment and is too costly for low income earners.
