I agree. Every now and then,I listen to this to remind myself of the enormity of what Christ did on the Cross solely because of God’s Holiness and Grace, not because I was worthy of forgiveness❤.
If you do not understand this, you have never had the fear of God come upon you. Every word he says is the absolute truth.

This is revelation of The Word
Glory to God only, because of this sermon it reminded me again what the gospel is. Beloveds because of my ignorence I found myself joining a cult named Shincheonji Church of Jesus lead by Lee Man Hee with a destorted doctrine. I'm saying this in the hope that this can be told to anyone not to fall into this trip. I respect this church because it helped me get out of the other destorted Gospel ex. Once saved always saved. Peace of the Lord Jesus Christ and of the Father with you all.
Live in light of the gospel. We'll said! Proclaim it as often as possible.

Do you have a subscription to TH-cam? I'm able to listen to hours of messages without interruptions. At first I thought it was too expensive but being that l do bible study daily for several hours at a time my line of thought is not interrupted with ad commercials.

Here I have broken down John Pipers view of God. DIRECT QUOTES OF JOHN PIPER which the rest on your list totally agree with. Is this who YOU see God as?
EXAMPLE 1 "God . . . brings about all things in accordance with his will. In other words, it isn’t just that God manages to turn the evil aspects of our world to good for those who love him; it is rather that he himself brings about these evil aspects for his glory. (IN OTHER WORDS GOD CREATES EVIL OF HIS GLORY)

Passion of the Christ is not a biblically based movie. It is catholic to the core.
Obedience will always reveal the truth about people. They do not want that level of responsibility. If I could talk with Voddie I would ask is righteous behavior required at all? He denounces works righteousness to which I agree, but he does it in a way that strongly suggests works has nothing at all to do with salvation. Of course we can't be JESUS, but wasn't HE the example that we should follow? 1st John 2 vs 6. A true believer understands that even his righteousness is as filthy rags, but after coming to the knowledge of the truth, we know that righteous behavior going forward is our reasonable service. There is substance in faith and evidence of belief in GOD. I really wonder if Voddie believes that we have to obey GOD at all.
Obedience is what the Gospel produces Voddie knows that

Yes he is calvinist
We are commanded by Messiah that, “...repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.” (Luke 24:47). In other words, we are supposed to preach the gospel that came out of Jerusalem and not preach the gospel that came out of Antioch, or Rome, or England, or New York, or Chicago, etc. By the time the gospel got to Antioch it had already been perverted as we read, “...And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch.” (Acts 11:26). The problem with this is that YHWH spoke of a people called by His name (Deuteronomy 28:10; 2 Chronicles 7:14; Isaiah 43:6, 7; Daniel 9:19; Amos 9:12; Acts 15:17). YHWH did not choose the name “Christian” for Himself. The people of Antioch chose that name and all the so called main denominations of today embrace that name “Christian” for themselves. When Peter and Paul preached the gospel they quote the prophet Joel, “Whosoever shall call on the name of YHWH shall be saved.” (Joel 2:32; Acts 2:21; Rom. 10:13). The English word "Lord" is not a translation for the name YHWH but is a substitution. I ask you, how many of the church fathers and so called main denominations of today preach that gospel? None of them. Absolutely none!
Paul makes it very clear that the end result of him preaching the gospel was that the people would call on the name YHWH. He says in (Rom. 10:14,15), The preachers are sent. They preach. The people hear. The people believe. The people call on the name YHWH (Rom. 10:13). I ask you, how many of the church fathers and so called main denominations of today preach that gospel? None of them. Absolutely none!
It took only one generation after the death of Joshua for the children of Israel to forget the mighty works of YHWH which He had worked through Moses and Joshua and to began to serve the elohim of the heathen people around them (Judges 2:7-13). It took only one generation!
The most important thing that I learned in life is about the mikvah for the bride of Christ.
A mikvah is a pool of water used for immersion.
It has been used for thousands of years in the Bible and it is still being used today by both Jews and Christians. However, Christian denominations have turned baptism into an initiation for lifetime membership into their particular denomination.
However, most believers know that Christ is coming back for His bride. But I just found out last year that every Jewish bride immerses herself in a mikvah before her marriage ceremony.
Therefore, the reason I am telling you and my family and friends about this is that the next time you are in a pool of water immerse yourself as a mikvah to be part of the Bride of Christ calling on the name of Yahweh (Jesus = Yahoshuah = Yahweh salvation) for the remission of sins.

Calvinism is a curse to the name "Christian" in almost every denomination today and getting worse!
"WE" are to put our "OUR" trust and "OUR" faith in Jesus and we will be saved. God created us in His image with the dignity and respect to "ALLOW" us to have a brain in our heads that can think and make choices. The first thing a Calvinist does is flush that dignity down the toilet and replace it with clever buzz words and tons of pride and deceit.

Funny how Calvinites just can't understand all of the big words in Gods message to all of man kind.
Big mysterious words like. "All" "All people" Whole World" " Everyone" "to all" "the World" "whosoever"
Talking to a calvinist about these words is like talking to a brick wall or a clanging bell in the wind.
They are pretty much given over to their heresy's.

And of course, you will share in His glory because salvation (according to you)is synergistic (you and God working together).So by works are you saved, that of yourself. It is the payment due you for the labor performed.
