HI Jimmy, I asked you once about a possible Northern fleet and it worked perfectly. In light of this event I assume is is necessary to add Soversky, Ognevoy and maybe Poltava. Do you have enough data/testing to reccomend them in a fleet? What will be the best Northern fleet at this point? Thanks
Oh no! I don't have the Iceball gear skin. I guess Soyuz will be gathering dust in the dock /sob So damage wise, she is better to pair with Shinano/Haku if their converging torpedoes can land. If not, would she be better on a BB fleet?
I wonder if the 10% Crit rate bonus when the barrage hits an enemy applies before the barrage deals damage. Would be really nice if the barrage itself also benefited from the full 20% Crit rate bonus Edit: I also agree on your take on Soyuz's 3rd skill. I had the same reaction. I just wish it gave some general DR like most other UR BBs get, it would've complimented her incredible HP stat very well
If it can 'shotgun' (overlapping to hit multiple times) I'd expect that all hits after the first would receive the buff (and there could be an order of hits even if they happen theoretically simultaneosly). IDK if crit is determined on 'fire' or on hit, tho.
My opinion as a PvP goblin is that Soyuz is likely going to be top tier in PvP. Currently, the PvP meta is triple BB fleets (due to Kearsarge hard-countering carriers), and Soyuz' buffs can cancel the downside of using Washington Naval Treaty (similar to Vanguard) while having really good survivability thanks to the high HP and the torpedo damage reduction (torps are immensly powerful in PvP). And her big barrage can likely hit the whole enemy vanguard or main fleet at once, and slowing down the vanguard is very helpful to take it down.
I'd say soyuz is a bit stronger than bizwei and musashi but only a small difference and thats considering that NP is kinda a underpowered faction so the trade is fair IB and IJN are both good and has much more viable option and the fact that you can slap her in any faction is very good

Can attest, the 20% damage increase from the iceball skin is mandatory if you want her to do any real damage.

Considering they haven't added a single box to the Arcade since it was released, I wouldn't be too sure about it guaranteeing eventual inclusion.
