The fact they are so powerful shows why they are so peaceful, they have no predators or natural physical threats, so there's no need to be warlike or warrior-like. Hopefully the queen's actions has given them a sense of battle, and the need to protect themselves against outside threats.
The Queen needed an adviser to explain to her that there are means of ship propulsion that do not involve arrow-resistant people who can effortlessly squash your soldiers. But she wasn't the sort who'd listen.
The oars used for the ship are massive and incredibly heavy to the point they could not be efficiently operated otherwise. That's why everyone was in so much danger from being hit by the oars.
The giants were definitely pacifists and didn’t believe in violence, but after years of enslavement they must’ve been really questioning their beliefs and seeing Kamau fighting for his and his daughter’s freedom I think that was the finale push they needed and all heck broke loose. The queen is lucky the giants didn’t do this years ago.
With the Egyptian Queen dead, the only thing left is the Viking Cheiftain as a giant fiery entity menacingly approaching Spear, Fang and Mira. Keeping Fang's new offspring will be even more challenging.

Just because you can do something doesn’t mean you should. This is probably what the giants told themselves for years. They knew how strong they were, but chose to hold back feeling it was the right thing to do. But after years of being tortured and treated unfairly I think they were already at their breaking point and seeing their brother Kamau finally standing up for himself and protecting his daughter I believe truly inspired them and that’s when they realized just because your peaceful doesn’t mean you should let bullies push you around constantly.
Love the style of the size difference between the Egyptians and Africans. Like they’re so big it just makes me wanna hug them especially since they were so peaceful before being captured
What I find kinda of ironic, is that in the beginning when the queen found kamau, he was peaceful and passive. Had he been like he is now when the queen found him she would’ve been dead along time ago, in the end the queen built a weapon out of kamau and it ultimately ended up killing her

Did you notice some sound effects of crowds use the blurred word “Go! Go!” This makes the crowd sound effects even funnier, even when it is not meant to evoke dialogue.
Yeah. when the slave revolt started the Egyptian boat people had absolutely zero chance. And of course Spear wanted to get in on the action and thoroughly trash the guards on the landing vessel. Even Fang looked impressed when he finished tearing the lot of them apart bare-handed. And all High Priestess/Queen Ima could do was watch her pirate empire be trashed right out from under her feet.
You know those slaves were so desperate to leave when they could have just used that boat to get to the nearest land. No, they just straight-up jumped into the open sea.
If only woke Cinema could take a page from a cartoon. Different cultures and races in an ancient land that shows brutality of humanity and is not afraid to show the primal nature of man in its glory. This cartoon gives me goosebumps just like it’s inspiration “Conan”. I am a fan and happy this is on during a time if garbage like “Ring of Power”

The giant folk were a modern take on the classic tale of the chained elephant - they never experienced violence so just a bit from the invaders was enough to kowtow them permanently. If they hadn't witnessed Kamau's rebellion they would likely have never made any attempts of their own to free themselves.
You just have to buy into it I guess. Many impossibilities on this show. Like how that boat could even function and hold all that weight.....made almost only of wood.
My guess is that it's a combination of factors, them being pacifists and the fact that the queen had captured Kamu's little girl (he seeming to be the leader of the village).
