    I used to work in a children’s hospital. Disillusionment unhappiness among healthcare staff is real.

      I accompanied my mom for her operation and yes even the doctors give negative vibes in fact they were rude to my mom.

    When a natural delivery of a baby with no complications costs $36K, something is very wrong and has to be regulated…

      Unless regulation is what causes the high price (barriers to entry).
      Maybe a change in the type of regulation is the answer?

      Her points were; lack of government regulations and hospitals are maximizing profits so lack of transparency in their parts. In short, hospitals are just like any other business and not charity. Like you buy a candy from one store that charges a higher price for it. Why? Coz other stores do it too.
