i think it's WCA legal, but i have yet to see someone use a metallic cube in competition. closest is that i judged a competitor who used one as warmup cube
I have a magnetic one I as you say, it's pretty good. But the yellow/orange are confusing and I have just one as a decorative cube when initially considered the chance of having another just to play with.
@@Fatrock1.0 I don't know if you can get uses to the orange/,yellow thing. Sometimes, with some sort of yellow light, I struggle identifying white/yellow because white turns practically yellow. The same with the pastel color cubes, are super confusing to me.
Sure, theoretically though if you got used to the colors that wouldn't have to be the case? If I took it to a comp tomorrow though, well that's a different story.
3d of the puzzles section states "3d) Puzzles must have colored parts, which define the color scheme of the puzzle and must be one and only one of the following: colored stickers, colored tiles, colored plastic, or painted/printed colors. All colored parts of a puzzle must be made of a similar material." So I'm pretty sure it's legal since that would count as either coloured plastic or coloured tiles.

@@Fatrock1.0sorry, originally said 19 lol
Im not sure if it is wca legal since you cant use something that would give you worse times.
(Edit: I corrected myself in the reply section)

Probably. I think your first assumption would be the correct one. I think it would be a matter of whether or not I could get used to the colors.
