I've done probably 1000 solves on it and have had zero issues with the logo wearing down or off. The cube also comes with a blank center cap if you dont want the logo

That's a tough question with all of the new releases and all of the upcoming releases. I personally am a huge fan of the Tv4 but many people may have another answer for you.

DO NOT GET THE GAN! The gan 4x4 is one of their few super flops. Hopefully the rumored v2 will be better. For the Vin, id definitely go for the ball core version. The price point is pretty neat on that. For the Aosu, the triple track is expensive but I really like it. From the sounds of it though from what ive heard, the double track is quite good as well. My overall pick imo would be the triple track aosu v6.

The Gans 460 is a travesty against cubing and should be discontinued for the safety of the cubing community. I got it unknowingly at the time and it was awful. I was so let down with it that I sent an email to them and got it refunded. I got the WRM and was very happy with it. That was even a huge upgrade from the gans. I'm sure with these 2 cubes, they would be even better.

@@Bydey I would definitely say these 2 cubes are a step up from the WRM. I keep hearing rumblings of a gan 4 v2. Hopefully it's better than their last 4x4.

My 4x4 single has since dropped a ton. I don't necessarily care for 4x4 though. Im only practicing it atm for a comp early november. The GuHong pro I have is a standard 55mm.

@@Fatrock1.0 It's also the only one you use Yau for, right? That would certainly make it less appealing. I have a 56mm maglev Guhong Pro.

That is correct. I only use Yau on 4x4. Funny enough, I get the same times right now using reduc on 4x4 but I know as I get faster that won't be the case so I use Yau anyways.

I agree that the tv4 is awesome! I used SCS Martian in mine!

I heard some bad things to but to my suprise, I didnt find them to be true. I think it comes down to 2 things 1. Turning style and 2. How much time are you willing to spend trying the 125 different setting combos. Personally, I love the puzzle and it's my main 3x3 now.

I unfortunately don't have that puzzle. I only have the regular RSM and the GuHong pro 3x3s. Im rather new coming back into the cubing scene so I dont have a lot of 3x3's yet :(

It sounds liek I'd have quite a hard time turning that too!

It's definitely a neat thing to have. My hands are just a tad too small though haha. It is turning a lot better too after some more solves, or maybe I'm just getting used to the size lol.

I really wonder if it comes down to the extra repelling magnets that the pioneer has for some people. I don't know. I presonally really like the feel of the Pioneer edition though!

@@Fatrock1.0 I live in an area with two seasons: cold and very dry / very hot and very humid. I used to have a angstrom + dnm setup on my tornado v2 and ended up with rusty magnets, the capsules on two of the edges are already partially cracked. Not a big deal for me, as I can just print new ones when they finally crack up all the way and the magnets fall off. My V4 is still in the mail, but as soon as I get it I'll probably disassemble and check if it's easy to remove and replace magnets on the corners, if it is, then it's no big deal. My old GAN 356X also got rusty magnets, but at least it's easy to replace them on the 356X. Again probably due to the weather where I live and my choices of lube, I rarely ever use silicone based lubes on that GAN or on my old Tv2. It shouldn't be that much of an issue for most people, unless they live in _really_ humid places, as it takes so long for the problem to show up, most people will probably have moved on to newer cubes by then. It's just weird folks like me who still like to play regularly with older cubes that will be affected by such issues.

Fair enough. I like messing with old puzzles as well. I just don't own too many. I did however order a DaYan Zanchi (the original one) becuase it gives em hella nastolgia from back when I cubed the first time.

The screw definitely isnt stuck. It turns. The side is just for some reason super tight no matter how loose I turn the screw. It's really odd. I was suggested to lube the spring inside of that side but I honestly haven't gotten to that yet. I agree that the smoothness of the GAN Maglev is amazing. That is by far my favorite megaminx. I recently started practicing gigaminx more now that I have the DianSheng Galaxy M one and my megaminx times have dropped from 3:30 to 2:30 in a few weeks. I don't know if I'll ever be sub 2 but I'm gonna try!

That's awesome! I was coming from the GuHong and the Tornado v4 is definitely going to be my main going forward. How are the M turns on the flagship?

Awesome! I have noticed that G perms seem to be a little wonky with the pioneer edition. Not sure if it's me still getting used to the feel of the puzzle or if it has to do with the repelling magnets. We shall see.

I definitely agree about the different versions coming out after you just bought one. It can be financially exhausting for sure.

The sweet spot for Gan cubes is the 12 Maglev. I started with a 12 Leap, then moved on to the Maglev and got a number of other, just as expensive cubes...none BUT the TV3 were able to stack up to it. Your best bet could easily be either the Gan 12 Maglev, Tornado V3 Pioneer or TV4.

I've considered getting the GAN 12. I just don't want to spend that much I guess haha.

@@Fatrock1.0 are they still expensive where you're at though? I got mine on sale for $34 a few months ago. It's better than like the $70-80 they want for the 15

Nice. The magnets are a nice bonus but I don't think they are too necessary for people that dont want to pay the extra money.

I do agree that the weight is nice. I wish tbe magnets were a little stronger though.
