    Would you do another one with the data importer for firefly 3 and how to set it up?

      I'll add it to my list! But probably not as I don't really use it much, but if I'm bored there may be a video with importing :D

    Hey, great video! Want to suggest zooming in what you doing to be easier to read/follow in the video! Thanks for this :D

      Hi RGabrielR, thanks for the suggestion! I can definitely make my windows more zoomed in for easier visibility to what I'm doing for my future videos! Thanks!

    I'm super impressed just that you knew the whole commands needed to install docker. That is always a look up the steps deal for me. Does that base install include docker compose? Also I'm curious why you choose centos over other Linux distros / docker orchestration methods? I subbed though, so good stuff mate.

      Hi! Hahah thank you :) After doing daily videos for like 3 months straight, it makes it very easy to remember certain commands :D The docker install that I have doesn't include docker compose. at around 2:25 I copy and paste downloading the binary from github for the docker-compose command!
      It was more just personal preference using Centos since I utilize it at my job, I like to stick with the same distro just to make sure I keep up to date on new packages and such :) But you definitely could use any other Linux Distros to do this too :)

      I thought that too! As I'm spinning things up and down all the time I really must make a script!!!;

      @@sassdrew8141 As I'm spinning things up and down all the time I really must make a script!!!; As for Centos it feels too different from Ubuntu, like you I've been using Ubuntu since forever!

    You could really explain at the beginning what you are doing first. Explain what docker is, explain why you are editing the host. You are going through the steps but not explaining what you are doing.

    The title says "Homelab Series - Creating a Firefly III Server" and the first thing you do is login to a server and start installing docker without any explanation of "Creating the server". Completely useless

      Hello! Sorry that the video didn't meet your expectations! If you're looking for how to setup an OS for a server specifically before doing the application install, feel free to check out the first few videos of my homelab series! I built the series in mind to get the base setup in my first few videos so that I wouldn't have to repeat the same thing in each video every single time. I can see that, that was what you were hoping for when clicking my video that I would start from all the way in the beginning which is not how I structured my videos, so I'm sorry that my video couldn't help you and I hope that you can find a video to meet what you're looking for! :) Have a great day!

      @@sassdrew8141 You may think to title them appropriately then.

      Thanks, I will keep that in mind. So far, no one else has been misled by the title, so I didn't think it was a problem, but I'm happy to hear that you seemed to be confused by it, so I'll consider renaming them in the future 😀 although more than half the titles on TH-cam are click bait anyways so be careful what you click on haha.

      I think the video assumes you know how to install linux on your own. Plus he is explaining how to install a single container. The video doesn't say "Your introduction to docker, docker compose and centos and btw I might just maybe install this container." Your compliant it weak, he started damn near at the beginning by installing docker. If you dont; know how to get that far on your own, then you will definitely not be running CentOS and the first time you see the yum command should be your hint the video isnt for you.
