I had this song on a vinyl record of stick dances years ago , when I taught kindergarten. Denmark has a lot of exercises and dances for large and small motor skillls. They don't believe that formal reading should be taught reading until around age 7 because the brain is not developed enough. They concentrate on large and fine motor skills and a lot of oral language. Then when they start formal instruction... the kids can learn in a few months, what we bang our heads against the wall trying to teach in 2 years, starting at ages 4 or 5, because we start when they are not ready.
I know I'm watching this just for research, but this is actually interesting. Denmark has an entire dance routine (albeit really simple) based on an occupation. Cultures are interesting.
