Equinox 2.0 Update is in! Hit the parks and found my oldest coin yet!

- In this video I was testing the new F2 iron bias that came with the 2.0 update on the Equinox 800. I was hunting in various late 1800s parks. I used the new iron bias on all hunts and give some thoughts on my findings. I found some great stuff! Check out the video and let me know what you think. Enjoy!

Great video,i run the 600. Been trying different set ups lately. Last week,Field 1 , 2-tone, F2-0 ,sen-25, Rec-3. Seems to hit coins on edge well. Really didnt dig many nails with f2-0 setting. Trying to train my ear to here the deep stuff. Happy Hunting.

Thanks! Yeah soil is nice in most areas around here. I do run into rock hard clay sometimes but you dont see that because I dont find many good coins in that lol.

just a friendly suggestion, carry a dish-towel and put ALL your dirt on IT instead of the ground. you're leaving too much of a mess & making us all look bad.
I have been detecting the same spots for over 7 years now with no complaints or issues. I always carry a towel and use it when needed. Thanks for watching!

Hey Ben, Do you not have to do a ground balance in there too, along with your settings?
I use auto ground tracking so no ground balance needed. I have tried both ways and saw best results here in my soil on auto ground tracking.

WHEN USING AUTO GROUND BALANCING FIND A PATCH OF DIRT WITH NO TARGETS KEEP YOUR FINGER ON THE REJECT BUTTON INSTEAD OF UP AND DOWN SWAY BACK AND FORTH THATS HOW AUTO BALANCING IS DONE AUTO DOESNT MEAN THAT THE MACHINE WILL BALANCE ITSELF LOOK UNDER EQUINOX MANUAL ON TH-cam
So did the 2.0 update fix the coin on edge issue?
The last update helped a lot. I have not tested coins on edge since the 2.0 update. I might do some more testing once I am done hunting for the season.
