I run her with exchange cards like Gilded Drake and Perplexing Chimera and Puca's Mischief. It's easy to steal and then use Animatou to steal again. Also, both Yuriko and Yennett, which are from the same set, synergize very well with her.
Seems like she would be a interesting stax commander flickering just for example ur mystic remora to reset upkeep cost or to constantly keep ur tanglewire at 4 counters
Friend, I was thinking about a midrange combodeck for her - using felidar combo, relic-warder combo, Tidespout Tyrant shenanigans and Isocron/nexus. All of those combos can be related, and the reanimator approach make the things easily (tidespout, relic-warder and felidar can easily tutored by entomb, for example) .
i use teferi oath and felidar cat to basicly do infinite combos for example card that say "when enter the battlefield ech oponents lose 1 life or you gain x life o making infinite mana etc" i had so much fun with this deck making infinite angels on the battlefield or demons or tokens having infinite life or decking people i really like aminatou seriously Sorry for my english! i m still learning
Aminatou's ultimate is awesome. While her ult is on the stack throw down a Teferi's Protection. "Until your next turn, your life total can't change and you have protection from everything. All permanents you control phase out. (While they're phased out, they're treated as though they don't exist. They phase in before you untap during your untap step.) Exile Teferi's Protection."
That demands that you get to her ultimate and that isn't easy. I can happen but I don't think that should be the decks aim. Let it happen if it happen but never dream about it.
Yeah, her ult isn't the end game of the deck but, more like an ace in the hole. If you can get to it, great, if not, just run your flicker shenanigans.
@@SyntheticEvil fairly old comment, but I should mention that using Teferi's Protection offensively is a good way to lose a game. It's more likely to win you a game as a response to someone else winning, than as a combo piece.

Yes you could but aminatup goes -1 each time so you might need a bit more. But that is definatly something to look into. Like all you need is any proliforat effect.
I’d like to see some actual game play as well. This video is better than your last, but still don’t consider it cEDH. Felidar Guardian and Alter is a nice simple combo with the commander. You run a lot of dead cards in certain matchups as well. Your idea is to loot through your deck to find a “better “ answer when in my opinion you should run a few spells like “Alter Reality” to make all your cards relevant, plus could change opponents cards to be useless.
That is definitely an idea I have been thinking about with the alter reality style. But I think that will be a deck more focused entirely on that. Cast deathgrip. Change it from green to blue. Control everything. I don't think Aminatou is stronger or equal strong to Zur. But I still think Aminatou is good enough to be mentioned.
I don't know how practical it is for cedh but I use thassa to always be able to put a card I don't want back on my deck and then scry it to the bottom.
Thassa is a bit expensive. 3 mana for scr 1 at start of turn. I don't think I have ever seen the card being played. But as a commander to make key creature cards unblockable. ... blue dosen't need that. all key creature cards you wanna make unblockable docent need it.
Dude I had no idea you did a video on Aminatou already the deck list I was trying to show you was a Aminatou deck but I took it a different route on the build
Yeah my build is really old. I think yours might be better. I made it for a friend and I haven't played vs him in a while. SO I haven't seen this planeswalker in action for some time.

Because I think those combos are bad. I guess it will come down to different opinions. But deadeye navigator is 6 mana and that is a bit heavy. Sure I could have mentioned Chain Veil. But we don't really need it.
Thanks man! glad you like it. But I don't think I will make a Edgar Markov deck tech. He is great in casual power level where he swarm and overrun your opponents. He isen't really good vs competitive decks.
Maybe your deck is different but I have played vs this deck before. Or lets say a similar deck. After several games that player stop playing that deck. He never got it to steamroll. He was interrupted at different ends. Or he never assembled that things he needed. So, sure it works in paretics but the assembling part is a problem. In my opinion.
i know you personally like to get the most blinged deck as possible but why do you go though the effort of putting the most expensive card on tapped out? that is something that always make my eyes cry when i see a 7000 price tag but then I go through everything manually to get a normal cost for the deck with a normal like £3 sol ring over a £400 one xD

hey, i know this is not really a commetn on the video but i didn't know where to put it, first of all i absolutely love what you are doing, the explanation and the fact that you also play commanders and decks which are not typically thought to be competetive and make them work is awesome because it shows that a lot of power is dependend on the pilot and also inspires people to be more creative, i also have a question, where i live our meta is pretty casual in regards to edh, other formats are played competetivly but edh is kind of a chill out zone (the decks are still pretty strong but the goal overall is to have a fun time and do crazy stuff), i love edh and it is by far my favourite format and even though i love casual edh i would also like to play some cedh, which is possible in different areas of austria and also switzerland so i would have a chance to do it, just not very often, i built boonweaver karador some time ago, it was a stax-graveyard based deck in cedh which is basically my favourite archetype, however it was just a tiny bit too strong for my local meta and then when partners got printed it also got kinda pointless to play in cedh, so i went back to playing my kinda casual meren deck, money as a student is kinda tight so i would prefer to stay in my colors and was wondering if you have a suggestion on a deck that i could build, competetive meren doesn't seem that strong and bazaar just costs too much for me right now so i was thinking that maybe blood pod was a good idea seeing how taiga is pretty much the only expensive card i am missing for that, also, is there maybe a deck that is viable in cedh but can also function in more casual rounds, something like yisan maybe? sorry for the long comment, i would be glad to recieve an answer and hope you keep up the amazing content
Np I like long comments. But long comments take a time to answer. I am glad you like my videos. And also that you see my idea on showcasing some commanders and decks that have potential but isn't at the current top. Now to your question. I have a strange answer. I have tried this alot. Casual players usually don't have a problem of a combo when it is crazy. I will give you my best example. (I did this once). Valakut + urborg tomb (the land that makes all lands into swamp). Now I cast any of the many blue spells that cange the text of a card from one basic type to another. I switched swamp into mountain. This gave me landfall lightningbolt. I had a lot of fun with that and people thought it was cool. They accepted it. And in time it helpt people to see some competitive EDH ideas. -Yisan: He is fun in competitive but not that fun in casual. In casual he becomes repetitive. Your opponents dosen't have interaction and then your only feathing you WINCON. -Blood pod. Is a perfect choice. Its kinda weak vs casual players becous blood pod is a meta deck. Casual players doesn't care about blood moon and aven mindcensor. -Yuriko: She has been showing results. It's not only a mean. There are some different builds with here that seam to work. She is not among the best decks, but it is something that kind of work. -Slow bomb: This name is my own ide. The decks main WINCON is Vial Smasher. Cast spells and deal damage until they all die, there by the name; SLOW BOMB! It's a work in progress but it can win games vs competitive decks. Its also great vs casual decks because the deck doesn't have any infinite combos. This replay is getting a bit long so here is my primer. tappedout.net/mtg-decks/cedh-slow-bomb/ I hope I have answerd your question.

Yes, I think Gray Merchant of Asphodel it bad. I also think Exsanguinate is bad. There are better things to do with your mana. But you can play them if you wish. They might be good vs your metagame. If Gray Merchant of Asphodel is the best card in your metagame even I would play it.
There are cards that see play in cEDH just because of the enormous states they give for a low mana. I guess luminarc ascension is a good example of that. Now Entreat the angel might only be usable with Aminatuo. But if there was a card that was 2 mana then X. Create X 4/4 flying angels. I might play that in more other decks. WHY? because some games don't end with a combo. They end with a beatdown. Not all games are over 6-8 from tutoring a combo. Or well people try. I usually aim at winning turn 3-4. But there is this thing that goes by the name counterspell.
I said, "you shouldn't fill your deck with only situational cards". I think that cards actually quite nasty. In the right pod, it will devastate the game. Both being a board wipe and something that will destroy lands for your opponent. Sure you need three blue mana. But that isn't soo hard with a three-colored deck like esper.
Exactly. Jet extremely good vs heavy green decks. Let's say you go up against momir vig hackball. Would insight be good? Yes, it would. Or I think soo. But when Insight is bad you can use aminatuo to get rid of it.
If you run into a heavy green deck I would consider deathgrip a very good option. And if you don't run into green. Use Aminatuo to get rid of it. She makes it safe to play situational cards.
These cry-babies will just whine and fuss until they get Aminatou banned like they did Breya and others. Sad part is most Cedh dont want competition they want easy decks to lock out and beat gow they want to. My play group has a "NO hold barred" play style. If you can afford it you can play it. My favorite is my braids deck. And winters Orb keeps me devastatingly aggressive.
yah screw playing reasonably good cards and instead run a bunch of dead cards instead. sounds good when you can brain storm a limited amount if times rather than flicker.
Hmmm, I don't know where you found 43 sideboard cards to be honest. I have two links in my description. One goes to a tapped out list. That one doesn't have any sideboard cards at all. The other one isn't a decklist. It's a cEDH concept. It even says so in the description. I even say so in the video. Also, I am sorry to say that EDH doesn't have any sideboard cards. You can check that out if you look at the official rulings.
Massacre actually see play from time to time in other decks because of the heavy Tymna meta we are currently in. It's a very good card vs the right meta.
I have read this comment from othere before. I have improved my pronuncation a lot from comments like these on other failure I do. So I ike them. My english is getting better. But I think I have to give up on this one. I guess my dialect is what it is ...
Altar of the Brood is an extremely bad combo... what happens when you find out they have an eldrazi titan in there deck. FAIL!!! Or they flash out Laboratory Maniac. FAIL!!! Or they Krosan Grip the altar. FAIL!!!
1) Krosan Grip: or any counterspell will simply disrupt most combos. I can say the exact same thing to Scepter dramatic reversal so I will say that is not an argument on that one. 2) Eldrazi titan: Is quite rare. Gitrog is one of the few that plays on. And now the new breakfast hulk version. 3) Flashing out a laboratory manican: is also quite rare.

You can indeed play Wooded Foothills.
true that. But it won't do much. :)
I actually win a game with aminatou ultimate
That can defiantly happen. But I guess your deck isen't aiming to ultimat her? I just happened and it was good for the situation, I guess.
you have so much money... so many masterpieces...
Nah. Everything is about how you prioritize your money.
I run oath of Gideon and oath of teferi over the Lilliana oath, then your planswalkers are stronger
Lilis oath protects animna and is repeatable zombies and removal
You said not to play situational cards, Volcanic Eruption is almost 100% a situational card. Not to mention pretty bad in general.
Insight... more bad very situational cards. To say the least.
Exactly. Jet extremely good vs heavy green decks. Let's say you go up against momir vig hackball. Would insight be good? Yes, it would. Or I think soo. But when Insight is bad you can use aminatuo to get rid of it.
Why would you even consider putting Death Grip in an Esper deck. You have much better options.
If you run into a heavy green deck I would consider deathgrip a very good option. And if you don't run into green. Use Aminatuo to get rid of it. She makes it safe to play situational cards.
If you said not to play Death Grip then why would you ever consider playing Douse.
I said, "you shouldn't fill your deck with only situational cards". You can have some. And I think you should have some if your boss is Aminatuo.
Breya is not banned in multiplayer edh unless ur talking about French
@@ultraviolentkingofthedeath4817 Breya is banned.... Unless you're talking about something you dont understand.
@@TanTan-ni4mg your a idiot she is not banned in multiplayer
yah screw playing reasonably good cards and instead run a bunch of dead cards instead. sounds good when you can brain storm a limited amount if times rather than flicker.
Your sideboard for a deck in the video is 43 cards, that's not even tournament legal. 15 cards is the sideboard limit.
Massacre isn't that great of a card you have much better things like: Toxic Deluge. And other continuous effects.
Massacre actually see play from time to time in other decks because of the heavy Tymna meta we are currently in. It's a very good card vs the right meta.
Quit saying pernaments. Its permanents lol
I have read this comment from othere before. I have improved my pronuncation a lot from comments like these on other failure I do. So I ike them. My english is getting better. But I think I have to give up on this one. I guess my dialect is what it is ...
If you need it I can email you a pronunciation list. Those helped me learn french really well, I'm sure they'd help you out.
Sure! If you have time over for something like that please do. Send it to: mansbredelius@gmail.com
This maybe an okay deck on the jank/casual level of play, but one oof the worst (if not the worst) for cEDH. BTW: terrible channel to say the least.
Hi and welcome to the channel always nice to find somewhere energetic comments, especially those that hate me. Now you made a lot of comments and I will try and answer everyone as fast as I can. I am a bit tired so I might do as many as I can for now.
Wow, I actually answered all your comments in one go. I realized they were quite the same after a while. In the end, everyone is entitled to their opinion. And in most comments, I just think you are wrong. And you will think I am wrong. So let's agree to disagree I guess. (But go ahead of you more time and energy and we can talk about it.)
But I guess I should say that I do semi-competitive deck techs from time to time. Mostly out of request. I never stated this deck to be broken.
Also no need to be rude.
