Sprite scaling is so good here, almost feels as the real 3D. Its fast also.

OT - Looking forward to getting the Nigel Mansell's Williams Lego set in March next year as part of the F1 lego sets.

To anyone saying the framerate isn't good, this is a lot better than 99% of racing games on the ST or Amiga. It is VERY smooth for the time period.

I remember playing demo version from ST Format after purchasing Vroom. For me it couldn't compete, even if graphics are nicer. It has lot of depth and I like the chip tune very much. Sadly the game engine wasn't good enough after playing Vroom. But they really tried hard. Seeing this in 1989 would have been stunning.

I think it’s a nice game, it has good graphics and speed sense, Gremlin were experts on it, but it wants to be the new Vroom, and it’s not the same.

i don't know how anyone played that game and thought it was good. it's hard to believe it was 1992, because there where better playable grand prix games in the local arcades near 10 years earlier. the framerate was so low then, this game i'm guessing didn't receive much funding. see how much it's improved to today with the likes of forza motorsport or grand turismo on ps5
