That is some Legend Johns better work, he won't reduce tyre pressures because he has to blow them up again. You want to see his headland work the final run had trench so deep that it was considered for use in first word war documentary! In fact and this is true my grandad grain carted on a field that fatty plough only to have his dentures fall out, although furious he swore he saw German soldiers running away!
Great video. Here in the US where I live somebody plowing is a rare sight. I've been doing tillage work for 45 yrs & have never pulled a plow. We only use disks & chisel plows & rippers here. Love watching someone plow though.
Nice bit of winter ploughing George. The spiders webs on the furrows were interesting. Many years ago I saw a freshly ploughed field covered. Just shows how many there are. I've just checked, before everyone says this is BS, but it is estimated there is half a million spiders for every person. Think this proves it eh! Thanks for the mention btw....not sure my comment said this. :)
I'm curious regarding your use of moldboard plowing. Is it common in the UK? Very rare here in Iowa USA. Virtually all mini-till with a growing number transitioning to no-till. Not uncommon to plow field perimeter to break up tracks and encroaching sod. Occasionally deep ripping to combat compaction. More and more fields here being tiled to control runoff as well as water retention. I apologize for plowing question you must hear it often.
Great video George. Legend could do with more weight me thinks !! 3230 is really working well and it can certainly pick that 6 furrow up mighty quick on its linkage.
That's one pulling sob!!.. but she sure know that bottom plow is back there!! Like other comments, maby let a tad air out of the rubber!! ? Can't hurt..
Heavier soils compared to the lighter, more sandy soils in America, and smaller farming surfaces. Farms out here are on average a lot smaller than in America, meaning we need to work our land more intensively to get more out of it. Tillage allows us to achieve higher yields, and also allows us to incorporate lime and work manure and slurry better into the soil.
That heavier soil is making that 8250 work! Some more weight on the front would seem to me like a good idea - more stable and probably a bit less wheel slip. Does the running angle of that land wheel adjust automatically when you alter the furrow width? - Because it is scrubbing when ploughing at that width rather than straightforward rolling and will be giving the bearing / hub / axle some real grief.
I forgot how sweet the 3230 sounds. great vid as always!

Jan van den Hardenberg nude to see u commenting again
the flashing light bar broken on the 8250 ,great video george. thanks
Can't beat the sound of that 32! It would be nice to see you back in the 32 for a few videos George :) once again a great video 👍🏻 keep it up
Johns glass eye must be rolling about on the dash judging by those furrows, but still gets the job done none the less.
Nicely done.
I remember the old days before 4 wheel drive - would take a lot of frustration to plough a field..

THE LEDGEND.KEEPS A COURSE OF ACTION.BRAVO.
That to me is what I call real farmer and real ploughing with nice dog leg in it !!!!! Great video as usual 👌😉

Amazing how well the tractor cope with all that weight!
THE LEDGEN IS A FANTASTIC FARMER.
Great vid George , looks like heavy going where John is working, Scrogger is flying he must be in a different area
oooo how did john smash the lightbar, tell us the story George. ..
Looks like it right on the edge of wet, Sure does get the job done.
good video George keep them coming
love the shot of the wagtail...
looks like a wet field where John is plowing. Nice video as always.

great vid George!! from the USA
Who knackered the flashing lights on the 82? Cracking video, makes me want to get back to farming instead of typing this essay
wow that tracktor cep on drift wend you pull the plow in the dirt
What has happend to the beacon bar on 8250?
Great video George, was that scrogger in the other jcb.
George on the 8250 what is the heaviness of the wait on the front of the tractor with the 7 furrow plow on it and once again nice video George
Nice fields there , do you have any rocky fields ? Great video ! !
pity the JCB isn't used more for farming here in Ireland.
Ploughing in the furrow its better than on-land system, because tractor have a more traction. ... yes of course when we ploughing in muddy conditions.
how did the lightbar get smashed on the 8250
Nice video
there's some roar off it
Plows are so 1970! No till all the way! Or at least a vertical disk. :)
Anyone notice quite a bit of slip on the 8250?
Itsnickooooooo it is a bit wet I think
Itsnickooooooo ya I see it to
Sure stick a bit more weight on the front if possible , the engine is producing power and not all off it is getting to the ground while slipping ?
Itsnickooooooo ya I think that two i think he need wheel weights on the back wheels
That's one pulling sob!!.. but she sure know that bottom plow is back there!! Like other comments, maby let a tad air out of the rubber!! ? Can't hurt..
She seems to plough that with out too much problem,Do you think you need more weight on the front?.
what's the depth on that furrow? looks like 7 - 8 inches. and why no coulters on the plow?
I like JCB fastrak 3230,is super buper
Fastrac beasts
Hi! Is the tire pressure low enough?
I use the same 7 furrow plough on a 939, how wide are your furrows?
where are you based
let some air out of your tyres John she will pull better keep up the good work
Why do you all not practice no till in Britain?

+Wout Van den Bossche Thanks. I didn't know.
john rich No problem

Ford is the best tractors!
Do you live in rugby
They operate in Bedfordshire I believe.
how well would these big machine cope with a wet Autumn? let's hope climate change is kind !
I'm first comment, what what
