I’ve def noticed the lack of those crazy set retakes. When they were winning they looked so disciplined now it is a little loose.
Everyone banning Split. Lotus and Sunset being their best map after split gets read easily by LEV and EG coach. Icebox Ascent and Breeze is their worst map

gonna have to disagree with him here, they were running the exact same plays every single time on defensive side Lotus AND THEY KEPT BRUTE FORCING IT. The amount of times TenZ would just ego peek mounds regardless of whether or not he had an OP or a rifle with an extra man became pretty telegraphed. He got Zellsis killed breaking a Fade eye for him then took risky 1v many setups. Them not going to Shanghai is a gift.

I agree that and SEN have become way too easy too read because they HAVE played the most maps this season so far. They have huge glaring holes in their defense, and EG (the underdogs) showcased that by exploiting their fondness of retakes time and time again. They didn't even have time to rest AND practice in between Madrid and Split 1.
It might seem like an excuse, but I do think they have some blame. It IS on them to realize how bad their team play was and come up with emergency measures so that at the very least, that 10-2 comeback didn't happen. It might be a blessing in disguise that they're not going to Shaghai, but it is unfortunate in the end.
Too many maps played, too little time to change up their tactics. Thats what they said on the SEN podcast too, that they were going to try and fix things since they had too little time to prep for neither madrid nor Split 1
SEN will win champs all good.
Ofcourse its going to be sloppy. Look at what happened to EDG in their 2022-2023 run. SEN and Loud got shit on in this split 😂

Tbh, Sentinels weren't miles better than the rest of the teams. If you see in Madrid, they had a 2-0 win against KC only while every other team they faced took them close till Map 3. So, rest of the teams have caught up in quick time. Sentinels now are so bad that other teams have become miles better. Madrid win essentially depended on Zekken entries. Except the Geng upper final, zekken dropped insane number of frags in every match.
So Sentinels have a lot of things to rectify ans catch up.
Fr they dropped a map to 100T in kickoff and lost to LOUD 2-0 in their first game. SEN were never that far ahead
