Nobody was paying attention to this team except certain people very dangerous team and look the same form of offense is still going on to this day .and I'm a born Dallas cowboys fan. Hmmm but I was paying attention to them
Smash Mouth Football, as they say. All kinds of interesting items about this game. Turf might have screwed up plays, but that San Francisco front four harried Bartkowski out of his timing. The 49ers did not even blitz. Falcons D hard hitting and quick pursuing. 49ers countered with misdirection plays while Atlanta countered the ferocious 49er rush with quick slant patterns. That touchdown to TE Charles Young looked a lot like the play that killed the Cowboys in the NFC Championship..."The Catch." And, some pundits picked the Falcons as a team of the 80s, but it was the 49ers who ruled that division, for the most part, in the 80s. Firing Leeman Bennett after the 1982 playoff loss in Minnesota was one of the worst mistakes ever made by the Atlanta franchise. They never amounted to anything the rest of the 80s, though their teams consisted of top draft choices and good talent.
The 1981 and 1988 49ers Super Bowl teams both lost to the Atlanta Falcons in week three by the same score of 34-17.
Thank you for uploading the 49ers winning game.If you have more 49ers game, please upload :)

I remember this game especially D. Hicks INT late in the game!
I was only 2 in 1981 and I became a niner fan in the early 90's. It would have been so cool to have been a niner fan in these early days.
Ok hunny
