Sextuplets have plenty of variations and this video demonstrates many of them. There are other theoretical variations which are not included here. The video would've been ridiculously long if I included literally all of them (not to mention infuriating to make). Many of these rhythms you'll rarely see, if ever. However, there are a several here which are more commonly encountered. On drums, try to stick to the RLRLRL sticking pattern for each sextuplet grouping.

How do you count this? For eg I know with 4 sixteenth notes you say one e and a.
For sextuplets there’s no widely-agreed counting. I say ‘bobadi-bobadi’ 😆
I do 1 trip let and trip let. So 1 trip let + trip let
I'd come up with whatever felt comfortable as I long as I'm able to articulate properly. Ta-ka-te-ke-ti-ki might work. Or just use what you use for triplets, like ONE-di-da-AND-di-da, for example. Or be ridiculous, like ONE-six-tu-plet-done-now
No, seriously I'd stick to ta-ka-te-ke-ti-ki
@@cecilia.santana l like the tongue twister
One te ta & te ta
With sextuplets, you have 64 possibilities. Use 8th notes. Only 8 possibilities by triplet.
When you write with a pen, it's easier. When you print, it's easier to read, and clearer.
Well there are actually 2^6=64 possible 6-lets, but! Some of them are just eights with sixs
Indeed some of them work better as regular 8ths or 8th triplets!
How did you approach it?
I have used combinatory logic. There's two possibilities which we can not intrasectly combine, the full sextuplet, and we exclude, the zerotuplet.
I use then C equals p over n. It gives me fiftheen, upon which I add the full sextuplet, giving me sixteen possibilities.
Ahhh never mind... 😅

1 M $ question: what about the sticking?...It's up to me??? 😂😂😂
It is. I would keep thinking RLRLRL (or LRLRLR if you're left-handed) throughout, though - that way notes fall where they would regardless of pauses and such. Makes it easier to manage than having to think different stickings for each one. If this was part of an actual solo or something else, then I might consider different stickings depending on context.
👍👍
If you want to subdivide think, of this as two triplets in one beat or double stroled triplets.
