Almost all top producers just use random packs for their fx samples, usually off splice. Vengeance and KSHMR 1-3 are the most popular ones though specifically, really good fx samples in them especially KSHMR.

Does Diplo get clearance for all of these samples he uses?
I was curious about that too. I am assuming in the final version of the track everything was done from scratch. To me it looks like the project Diplo is sharing is just where he arranged the idea he had. Then sent it to Sia and they turned it into a professional track.
@@djchemiethe final track definitely sounds like he used the same vocal sample
@maelgwni it's not too difficult to create the same sound to be honest once you know what you want to recreate. Manipulation of vocals is easy. But I guess we never know unless someone asks him directly.
@@djchemie recreating with the same timbre of voice, etc?? I think that would very difficult to come that close. If you listen to the original song the sample is identical; it definitely doesn't sound like he's recreated it. Diplo uses a lot of sampling in his songs in general (e.g. paper planes was basically born from him sampling random stuff), so I suppose he must be clearing them before he releases?
@@djchemieAll these pop producers create their songs from sampling - Moby, Fatboy Slim etc. I guess they must be getting clearance, no idea how they do it though. Anyone here care to advise?

@@79Glitch no I give him props he’s a dope producer I was more so talking about how he’s working with a Grammy nominated artist while working on this track. I’m always looking for a capellas that sound good I can’t imagine what it would be like having the artist in the room singing around what I’m working on

Adding on, I have seen him and played with him a few times to crowds that have no idea what he has done to be part of shaping what we know as pop for the most part, today. Party on friend.
Elastic Heart is a dope song, but to me, it definitely sounds like a beat that Timbaland would do
