World map with local time dependent LED backlight (construction)

I am constructing a world map with LED backlight for our living room. The idea is that instead of having a monochrome backlight, I uses a WS2812 LED strip controlled by an Arduino, to set the backlight color differently according to the local time of the given point on the map. This part of the video shows the construction process and the result.
