Data analyst and business analyst are completely two different roles. Kindly update the title to data analyst. Business analyst is completely a non technical role that doesn't require coding.

I have total experience of 5 years but in different profiles like collection, customer service and BDE. I did ECBA course but it was total failure bcoz they didn't taught anything but in rush to complete the course. Now I'm trying to learn SQL by TH-cam. I'm also trying to learn Jira and how to prepare BRD FRD SRS etc. Can you please guide me how I can learn these things without enrolling in some institute & someone who can tech only practicals with some project.

Sir even I am from a 3rd tier college that too in mechanical engineering, but could apply through website and make it to Amazon in a non technical role , now need guidance to learn and transition into data engineering.
Apart from this you have to know about all types of documents like (BRD,SRS,FRD,BUSINESS CHARTER ETC), features and functionality, technical writing etc.

Hi I stated my journey with Tata Business support services as a CSE (customer support executive) I do not come from any It or non it background but I come from Professional background ( I'm a hotel management graduate)
So I basically worked as CSE for 6 months and then I worked as a HR executive for a month but I'm trying so hard now to pursue my career as Business analyst.. I tried to get into Amazon as a team leader but I couldn't clear the last round but I am trying to get into Amazon now as a team leader and i would be taking course for Business analyst role and I'm trying to join JP Morgan or Amazon soon ..

Switched for higher package , realised the shift system may age me faster as being a fitness enthusiast , it ruptured my regime . Indians are still slave for 1st world countries. Left the job. How to switch to DA , or burst bubble atleast using visualisation role?

Hi, I'm working in one of Indian private bank as credit analyst from last 11 years.
But now I'm want to shift my career in IT.
I did B.Sc in CS and since then working in banking industry in various banking role.
In last 3 years i worked as product manager where in I had chance to take up the digital projects with responsibility from gathering information, raising BRS, creating test cases, executing test cases and sign off.
I'm applying various BA profile but not getting any calls.
Please suggest should I really look forward to IT career.

I am sorry to break your heart about it,But it's not. I am been in BA role for past 9 years from ITBA to Jr BA Lead BA etc and never seen we been under DS instead of Business or PMOs or SM in 4 different companies including one of the big 4 :-)
yes BA should need to have at least DB query minimum and a bare minimum for projection on how to showcase the progress ( powerBI excel etc )

Yes you can. I am a SAP HANA consultant too. HANA is a powerful framework . You can do engineering, predictive analytics, platform. Just explore HANA it gives you a lot of integration options.

@@priyankafulmali7111 Try exploring Native hana as it has similar data engineering use cases. Learn SQL via HANA. Try to understand how jobs are schedule in hana, how data provisioning happens. Learn python as well. If you feel it's not the right thing you do have the basic skill to switch to DE also.
