I used the lever for the built in sharpener to clear chip buildup out more than to actually sharpen the chain. It managed to cut some hardwood stumps much larger than it's size without bothering the neighbors with hours of 2 stroke noise.
Simple fabrication. Tools you need: a plasma cutter, a lathe, taps and...skils. Everything you can find in a normal house. The cost of an electric chainsaw is about 80 usd, properly made and safe. Sort of lets do something if we have time and junk. Good craftsman skills though.
Needs oil, needs constantly tightened to not fly off like all chainsaws, super dangerous. A normal chainsaw has metal hook thing near the bottom of the chain to stop the saw if the blade pops off. A lot of the new ones have a anti-kickback brake guard on the handle.

It was a useful tool, but the handle of the saw is not ergonomic. The person who will use this saw must be very experienced and strong. Because if the arm of the person holding it gets tired, the tool may kick back.
No chain tensioner (dangerous). No auto lubrication (ridiculous). No kickback protection (dangerous). The chainsaw steps back into the early 1960s. And why oh why didn't you sleeve the threaded section of the bar bolts? Soon they will be immovable and if anything fails the whole overcomplex bar assembly will need replacing. Overall, zero points and a warning. This was clearly all about gaming the youtube money machine. Disgusted.
Why not just buy an electric saw? They can be had with chain tensioners and oilers and handles meant for holding a chainsaw for very inexpensive, no more than you have in the saw, bar and chain.
Good kick back there, no chain brake, looks like the leverage is in the saws favour. Need a chainsaw ? Get a chainsaw. For your own safety. Just saying.😊
Most people just have basic tools . I think if people can make them as simple as possible it would help more people . How many people can afford a lathe , plasma cutter welding machines ect . Most have a drill grinder saw ect.you lost me at the lathe

Хочу докопаться до системы натяжки цепи, отсутствие смазки цепи, аварийного стопа, удобства и наличие плазмареза
Всё поправимо, кроме - отсутствия смазки цепи. Шина "сгорит" - через 10 мин работы.

No, oil for chain . Thay will heat up the chain and leads to dulling of chain prematurely.
