Loved this song in the 90’s. Son was in high school so we would listen to tons of 90’s music. That music loving kid is now building the nation’s newest Stealth Bomber. Music can inspire. What I love about this cover is that I’m hearing all the words for the very first time. God, what a great song. Nice job. Thanks for the memories
Every now and then I come back here and this song never fails to make my heart GLOW. I just watched "Surf's Up" again tonight and HAD to hear your version again (The New Radicals are pretty good too... LOL). ABSOLUTE BLISS. I used to sing and play with a couple buddies and one of our strengths was VOCAL HARMONY. We were GOOD. So I KNOW how it FEELS when you hit those notes JUST RIGHT and it's like church bells ringing with crystal lights beaming down on you. EVERYONE HEARING YOU IS SMILING FROM EAR TO EAR. When the song is over, you look at each other with this feeling of AWE and your body and soul RUSHES as you realize you've just accomplished something special and powerful. Not everyone can do that, and those who can are truly blessed. THANK YOU. THANK YOU. THANK YOU, LADIES.

I know it's been 3 1/2 years since you girls posted this video, so I'm a bit late commenting. I first heard this uplifting song from the delightful animated film "Surf's Up" and fell in love with it IMMEDIATELY. The chord progressions are jazzy and SUBLIME, the lyrics are clever and inspiring, and the song is just expertly CRAFTED. I could GUSH about the song all day, but the version you girls do is so OUTSTANDING it brings me to tears. Your guitars are PERFECTLY TUNED together and your playing is balanced and beautifully harmonious. Your VOCALS are MAGNIFICENT, deftly handling harmonies like impassioned PROS ON FIRE. I honestly can't decide if I like the original version by The New Radicals or your cover better, and I'm not just saying that to be nice. I think it's one of the finest home recordings on TH-cam I've ever seen, and I hope you keep bringing your music to the world. With the entire GLOBE enduring very difficult circumstances with the coronavirus pandemic, your gorgeous music is a PANACEA for our HEARTS and SOULS. I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for pouring out your souls in this song. Music is powerful and healing, and it doesn't get much better than this. ABSOLUTE MAGIC. THANK YOU.
