I own a landscape business, i have switched All my equipment to husqvarna...tired of paying top top dollar on stihl and constantly having them in the shop, 1 year in on trimmer, blower and saw, no issues at all, run good out the box and still runs the same as day one

Bought mine for trimming.they come with what you need. My favourite powerhouses are stihl, love my husqvarna for trimming. I beat the hell out of it and it always comes back for more. I trust it. And keep it clean.

I work at Lowe's and see so many people returning power equipment all the time, blaming the tool, but it's clearly user error...
I got one of these about 2 months ago and haven't had the first issue with it. I love it, it's small, light, and does exactly what I want.

Just used mine for the first time today. Started right up and idled after it warmed up. I am impressed with power of saw myself. I was doing some heavy cutting and it never bogged the motor. I had a Stile chainsaw and the damn wouldn't start half the time.

I have a 120 mk2 and a Stihl MS181. If there’s a performance difference I can’t really see it. They have some design and build differences but even they are pretty minimal and for every plus they each have a negative in comparison with the other. I’d say buy the one you can get the best price on.

Bought this saw today, filled it with shell v power high octane petrol 50:1 mix, primed the saw, 2 pulls with full choke and away it went, idles perfect 👌🏻 very impressed with this saw for the money £137 uk👍

I bought a husky 120 just shy of a year ago (2021) got two cans of premix with it and bought husky’s bar and chain. I’ve had a saw in my hands the better part of my life and always went with a husky without issues, I rebuilt/repaired small engines as a side hustle in high school so it doesn’t scare me to rip one down. Now this saw maybe I got a defective one? It’ll run when it wants to and I can cut maybe 2 limbs then it’ll die coming off throttle if you let of, if you ease it off it’ll stumble then idle (rough). I’ve gone through the carb, the chain stop, the kill switch, fuel lines, adjusted the carb to factory spec and what’s suggested online, mixed my own fuel, verified spark ect ect and still this little saw fights! Our MS271 farm boss starts second pull after choke, our old homelite 150 that’s been through hell and back starts with a little coaxing but the Husqvarna 120 refuses….. I’m not knocking the saw I like it and I want to keep it around it’s perfect for small jobs and easy to drag around but I just wish I could get to the bottom of its issue haha

I have one of these and the transition from high rpm to idle usually causes it to stall but the more I run it the less it does it.

I bought a Husqvarna 350 back in 2003 and never had any issues with it. Up until yesterday (8/20). The gasket on the muffler broke apart and melted a hole right through the case. Totally my bad. I noticed it sounded louder than normal and I ignored it because of wanting to get the job done. Big mistake. Anyway, it was working great up to that point.

I just bought one and used the premix purchased at the same time. Starts good wont idle. I'm going to have to adjust the carb.

Bought one a few weeks ago (refurbished) from ebay. Seems to have some carb tuning issues but it's good cause I'm learning how to tune the carb. However, what I really wanted to point out is that this is a light duty saw. So if you get carried away (like I do) and start throwing big wood at it you'll probably get disappointed and frustrated. In fact this just happened to me this afternoon. In the middle of "cutting" a large chunk of wood this little saw struggled. I put it down and went and got it's big brother the Rancher 460. The Rancher went through that chunk like butter. Realized I was using the wrong saw prior.

does that pre mixed fuel and bar oil fix the recoil starter problem ? i'm on my second one , piss poor design . i'm 51 years old ,been over a saw since i was 15 .and i know how to pull a rope .i have 10 other saws that aren't eating starter parts .the 120 mark 2 is a piss poor starter .

I have a nice Rancher farm tough used it for years still have it. I bought a 120 cause light to work with. . I had to make some adjustments to get it run right . I pull the choke out to start will not stay there keeps going in. . How do I fix that ? I buy gas in store 20.00 gal . I like Husqvarna just also bought there big leave blower also.

Mine works great for the small trees and brush I cut up around the house. Has enough power for me...and cuts great. I did have an idle issue that turned out to be a kinked fuel line from the assembly process. Have heard a couple times too that they will come out of adjustment(idle adjustments) during shipping. I would prefer that a dealer goes over and runs them prior to going on the shelf so these issues don't happen. Some of the people using them have no idea how to trouble shoot. Therefore don't look further into it or take it in and label it a piece of junk...throw it away and give bad reviews. There's plenty of info available to help them figure it out if they wanted to fix it....must be nice to just go and buy a new saw every time one had an issue.

Bought jonsered cs2234 90% the same chainsaw and it had same problems, not running on idle, dripping chain oil, not starting or running too fast on winter/summer seasons... Chinese crap... And to be honest bought cheap 80$ chinese chainsaw ant it runs like a clock so far and has twice the power this one has.

I just got this thing today and I already think it's complete fucking garbage the only way I can get it to start is if I take the spark plug out and dump gas on it and I've been mixing gas since I was a kid I grew up riding 2 stroke dirt bikes so I know I'm not mixing the gas wrong this thing is just garbage which isn't like Hus products at all I guess these ones are just flooks

    • @josephmills9031
      @josephmills9031 3 ปีที่แล้ว

New or used? Did you buy it from a authorized retailer? If so take it back even stihl or echo whoever has bad saws that slip through the quality checks.

I bought a 120 mark 2 2020 had it 3 or 4 months. Use it daily for firewood and starts perfect, idles like a charm and out cuts my neighbors ms170.

This is a toy it might as well be made by Fisher-Price. The 120 is known by dealers to be a lemon.
