70k a month is perfect if its just one person but I have a feeling the owner of the channel has a team that he has to pay wages for which would probably reduce that number significantly.

I think you forgot to mention a few things:
They also post Lofi artists' albums on the Lofi Girl channel, so people who like a livestream song will look for other songs made by the same artist. They also have the Lofi Records channel, where they upload songs by the same artists, with the same goal as I mentioned above. Their videos with albums and individual songs generate money through adsense.
Plus, they have a second livestream (beats to sleep/chill) in addition to the main one, which has a quarter of viewers but makes some money.
Excellent point, I never considered that before. AdSense is underrated for sure. I can only imagine that they would also be making a significant portion of their income through this method.
As a new channel that wants to take things in that direction, I want to say thank you for your insights and the great work.

Who ever after watching this video decided this is great idea and want to start they own lofi channel, be sure it isn't so simple as they're describing. Hard work, investing your time, mony keeping consistent posting months afters months without big results after almost 1 year of my life. This is full time job.

That motivated me to make a LoFi channel but I really don't know how to grow up as a channel... maybe one day, maybe never... no clue how to be the next LoFi Girl! :P
How do lofi channels get monetized. I have a lofi channel and all videos have a copy right claim. I edited the songs into an order I like myself but the songs are owned by someone else. I have credit in the description. Will my TH-cam channel be rejected for monetization if I apply because of copyright claims? I don’t have any copyright strikes.
Create your own music without using sample grooves, sampled melodies, sampled chord changes. Just be creative, use sample sounds/instruments or real instruments that you play yourself. Copyright your stuff buy filing for and keeping ownership of the performance rights and publishing rights. Then use them on your channel.
Myself, I'm a pro musician for the last 28 years. We work hard on our craft, investing in private lessons or school and music books, we invest in buying albums to listen to, learn from and enjoy. We spend years working on our craft and networking driving to jam sessions, driving to other people's concerts. Of course we will file a copyright claim when someone is literally stealing our work and trying to make $$ off of it lol!!
