Thanks for these updates! After news about IONNA’s imminent soft opening events, I’m hoping you score an invite and get to share everything you learn. Keep up the great work!
I am glad to see BP at least mention providing charging at their 8500 gas stations across the country. Interstates only carry 25% of total traffic in the US, so getting charging out to the rest of the roads, US and State highways, is critical. Not every truck or EV driver only travels Interstate highways. Of course, none of those 8500 BP stations are located in Oklahoma, so we won’t see any benefits from this, but it will be nice to have more EV charging spots in other places
Thx for the pronunciation help. Will reference this phonetic in the future. Hope it opens for you all soon. BP seems to be on their game, so shouldn't be too long.
Another good review. After years of far too little activity in the USA's charging scene, we're finally seeing some real movement. Once these new large networks are up, it'll be interesting to see how Electrify America adapts, provided that they have real competition from a reliability standpoint as well. EVGo as well, with their rather diminutive station sizes and somewhere older hardware in a lot of locations. Not to mention the elephant in the room, Telsa. Interesting times ahead.
My wife is a native Spanish speaker. I showed her the clip. She groaned in disgust and then looked at me with disappointment. It is times like those I allow my good looks to carry me through.
More important than the pronunciation, more charging along the 210 corridor will be very welcome. How many stalls are they planning? I just visited the new Rove facility in Santa Ana and of course it was very nice 👍
You rule as always. One tip for you since I used to live in the Northwest. When pronouncing Oregon. It is pronounced Oragin. Not Oragone. Thanks for all your great content!!!!! 😊
I count about 15 of these up and down the west coast in Plugshare. NONE in my neck of the woods. When I see how all these DCFC providers are expanding and accelerating the installations, the more I think CCS-1 should have been designated the "standard," and coordinate with Tesla using adapters -both ways.
I was curious and I did some math.....BP has stated they aim to invest $1B on EV charging by 2030 (USA). That should be 2,000 charging stations so roughly 400 stations/avg for the next five years. Initially I thought my math was way off because who in their right mind has 2K gas stations? Well BP actually over 7K locations in USA. So if they actually open up 400 stations/year which is roughly 1 station a day I will be so happy.
of the titans battling, BP is a contender. My money is on Wally world though. I think they will leave everyone else in the dust here shortly. Thx for watching.

Thank you. Will circle back if I get an invite to IONNA's opening.
I have received an invite to the IONNA opening. More news when permission given. Thx for the well wishes.
@@thenetworkarchitectchannel Sweet! Can't wait to hear all about your visit!
Quite impressed with the scale of some of these builds. Thanks for compiling them across continents, in this instance!

Thanks for the update. The Logan location is interesting due to it being next to a Lyft Express Drive location.
Appreciate your updates. Looking forward to visiting the Duarte (‘do-are-teh’) location shortly after it comes online.

Thanks, Walter. 2:33 The town name is pronounced "d'war tey." 😀
I had to look up the pronunciation to make sure I wasn’t having a stroke. th-cam.com/video/3laKEALHIts/w-d-xo.html
@@Mattanimus Great resource! I think Californians take a lot of these pronunciations for granted because so many people speak Spanish.

Thanks Walter. Great news 📰
Keep your eyes peeled for the next update!
There are two new BP Pulse locations at Thorntons in Eastern Nashville. They have not been activated to my knowledge.

Not many BP charging stations on the east coast.
