I had a major flashback to childhood watching this video. In the early 70s, here in the UK, Whimsies were a major fad at my school and a trip to a toy shop meant a detailed examination of the Whimsies section. Even more exiting was being on holiday (still in the UK), where a different shop meant me and my sister had a more "exotic" selection to peruse! My Whimsies lived on a shelf in my room and had Lego furniture to sit on. They must still be at my parents' house somewhere. Maybe I need to have a rummage next time I'm visiting.
This is great! I’ve been collecting these for a few years and have about 50 (animals and nursery rhymes) now. They’re fun to collect because they’re relatively inexpensive, interesting individually thanks to variations in their paint, and they hold happy memories for me. I’ve been trying to figure out which I’m missing, so this is helpful!
My mom used to collect them I remember when we got them in the tea when I was a kid it was the fun of opening the new box every time even my grandma had them as well ❤❤❤ I watched the friendly giant that you talking about lol 😆 putting those stools out , and the draw bridge lol.
Very cool miniatures! Apply a tiny drop of clear nail polish or varnish for the piggy ear tip, set him upside down somehow with supports and let dry overnight. Should look glazed. Worth a try!
These are amazing, I've never heard of them or have found or seen them b4. Now I'm definitely going to be on the lookout. They do look amazing in the doll diorama you have up.
Cool video 😃. I liked all the different animals. I never heard of Red rose tea. I am definitely going to Google it. The sea creatures like the sea lion & angelfish were my favorites. Looking forward to seeing more of your collection.
My favorite miniature porcelain animal in this video is the hedgehog . Good video different than your usual videos but it's nice to have a variety of subjects on your TH-cam channel .
Sorry but that sounds like some old figures or figurines whichever one you prefer to call them. But other than that I hope everything's going well for you and that you're doing okay and that you're having a happy weekend.

So fabulously baroque! 😍
I had Wade Whimsies in the 1980s, I used to play with them in the garden and in the bath.
Nice it looks very realistic 👌
