If a coach needs to electronically monitor of a player is working hard, maybe that player doesnt deserve to play the game. A player who loves the sport will work day and night to do better, not be told by a computer.
Really nice job coaches and players... brahma, technology may change the game. Pretty cool technology and program and nutrition. Cameron work, music, and testimonials. Mr.Ryan Davis strength and conditioning from Alabama. Great work. Thank yous for sharing.
Jonathan Douglas they are trying to recruit power not build muscle. They don't have to have perfect form on something like a curl. Better to learn to move the weight
Have you ever played football and tried to wrap someone on up a tackle? It takes a ton of bicep strength to wrap and hold someone. It's not all about running straight on and hoping to drive someone staight down with power. Bicep curls and dumbbell flyes play a huge part in wrapping someone up during a tackle. 25lb curls aren't going to do it. Cheat curls are the way to go for stength
Men's Health promote whoever made this video cause it was dank out of dank. Watching this makes me thing god damn football players are strong. That GPS tracking is a double edge sword with analytics improving an athlete's capabilities contrasted with the cole world of players just being a number to get paid a number.
These kids are professional football players they fly out to games like pros they work out and study for most of their life like pros and they generate billions of dollars like pros the only difference is that they don't get paid legally but that's about to change once the state of California passes the new bill.
I thought he never shied away from fundamentals.... guess I was wrong, on so many levels... 3-35 vs BC.... Central Michigan Chippewas scored 8 points against BC...
No offense, but almost every Division 1 football team uses the wireless monitors under their pads. Florida State isn’t using some kind of “special, unique” technology. Coming from a former equipment manager for 3 different Big 12 teams.
How does PED use vary at the 3 different teams you worked with? I’ve been told for the most part these days if a player wants to use PEDs it’s up to them, it’s not like it was 40 years ago where the coaches would be giving you the drugs like anadrol and so fourth. Is this true?
@@seheadhunter50 protein is the base macronutrient and is the only macronutrient than can promote repair and regrowth of damaged mucles. Quality of protein is important.
Inside what? There is no actual information about the training program. We just see them work out and watch the coach say "I'm unique" in 20 different variations. :/ Was really hoping for more. Edit: Tbh we do get a single piece of information: they use accelerometry to monitor training intensity. But all NFL teams use that.
I'm very confused. GPS Tracking systems have been used in Sports such as rugby, football(soccer) & AFL for years now. Is this only new in America? Even our Gaelic teams here in Ireland use these, and they are amateur sportsmen.
I also love the mention of an artificial intelligence expert. I highly doubt they are doing anything requiring some sort of agency. Just a good amount of data on a preset product lmao.
TH-cam has some of the most toxic comments from a bunch of people who don’t know Shit about the science behind exercise or performance. This is coming from a Kinesiology student so I know my shit. Don’t @ me.
it actually makes a lot of sense - load gets heavier as you progress through the lift from the forearm bearing the load to the bicep. Normally the limiting factor on barbell curls is the forearm, whereas the bicep muscle is going to be bearing the load when it comes to whether you fumble or not, or can hang onto an opposing player in a tackle. So in this exercise they may want to focus more on the bicep, hence the chains
Also the progressive overload on the curl is much slower than what you get at multi-joint exercises. I guess the chains would help with the micro-loading.
How can your performance be measured by just numbers; thats just stupid( If a player can save energy in some play because the play itself is not demanding it from him, is it bad? He didnt put enough effort? So much factors , that you cannot make conclusion on them only
I'm a trainer and I thought id check this video for any nuance on how football players would like to be trained. As soon as I saw those curls I cringed and realized there is nothing of value here. It's a yikes from me, dude. how about start with proper form.
And it's funny ever since Miami beat FSU, and has been undefeated, all these Miami "fans" has come out of the hiding. Y'all have the fakest fan base and are #1 for bandwagons this year. Stole them from Bama lol
Miami is garbo, got lucky on a hail mary type play against a severely struggling FSU. Without Jimbo, nothing will hold us back from opening a good ol fashioned can of whoop ass. Hope you're ready bro, I'll let you hold this L... You're gonna need it
kn Smith he has a point tho. I mean yeah freak accidents do happen. But not even close to the rate at which football players are severely injured in college and the NFL. You will deteriorate 10-15% faster than normal people on average and probably have some mental health problems in your future.
They don't even kno proper form on curls which is the easiest form to teach if u can't get it up without just using ur biceps (no rocking, no arching ur back , no using ur legs it's not a clean it's a curl!!!!!!!!!!!!
To a point, however, when are bicep curls an "explosive exercise"?!? Point being, bicep curls are not a sport-specific exercise in relation to football athletes especially when power and explosiveness is the desired outcome of an athletes training program. Specifically, isolation movements (usually used in bodybuilding), in general, lack this very outcome. Form should always be a priority in the weight room regardless of sport. Strength, Oly, Power, football, bodybuilder, etc..
To be honest idk why the hell they are doing curls 😂 maybe it's just a exercise to get them hyped up I don't see the point in them doing curls but don't get me wrong I agree with you form is important regardless
No weight lifting program can compensate for a Powerhouse going to the Out House of college football. If FSU was living up to there legacy like Bowdens we could replace them with Clemson at the Sugar Bowl 2018 and we would have had a much better ball game vs Bama. Clemson was a WEAK number 1 seed and their QB looked like he wasnt taught anything. FSU is Historically a better football program than Clemson.
"No disrespect but my name's Derrick" lmfao
Logan MLG LOL
lol

Logan MLG he was high lol
As someone interested in the field of sports science, I love this paradigm shift
“My names derrick”😂lmaoo
“My name’s Derrick”…. slot him in as the keynote speaker at a “transgender” convention and listen as the fun begins.
that strength coach looks like a legit bull terrier.
Mike Muoio it’s nasty
Considering their season was derailed by injuries, maybe they should rethink their programs...
Kyle Goins yea that bicep curl form made me cringe
“No disrespect but my names Derrick” lmao
This was so well made, props
What technology did Boston College have when they shat all over this team?? Must have had some military level shit.
they got MIT right next to them thats why

They don't win big a lot but damn do they make good players; also imagine if any of the regular championship schools did this
Reminder that colleges pay for their team name on bumper plates while not officially pay the players their fair share. CFB priorities are out of wack.
Did I just watch a guy basically use his legs and bend his back to curl with a coach right there that cheered him after
Jonathan Douglas they are trying to recruit power not build muscle. They don't have to have perfect form on something like a curl. Better to learn to move the weight
Jackson Vance so then tell me for which movement is the curl needed? If its for the power then there should be much other movements thana curl...

5-6. Keep Evolving.
I want to play Football at a college so badly smh, if there would be such a High amount of support in germany, we would develop World class players

nutrition.... and they use muscle milk
yeah shits trash, and to think they blend perfectly good fruit into that shit.
It doesn't matter what protein you take lol it's a tiny part of your diet it will all give the little edge it's made to give
Very limited science in AF. Its slowly becoming more researched.

This is the stupidest fucking argument I've ever read. If forearms are the limiting factor they should be doing direct grip training
David Perkins amen
Marcelo Bezerra you have no idea what you are saying.
Based on 2017's football record, perhaps they should try something else.

Antoine Williams extra head protection. My program uses them
