I completely agree! I've been searching for "best laptop for live music and music production."
And the only things I found were Macbooks.
Finally I put myself an Alienware laptop together. Less expensive than a Macbook and it works with FL, which was the key factor for me. Macbooks don't really deserve the reputation they've got at the moment when it comes to music.
yeah, I still don't understand why people use Apple.
Sure, windows is buggy and has a lot of viruses and bloatware, BUT that's only for the dumb people.
I'm using my ASUS ROG without antivirus (even Windows Defender is off most of the time), and my laptop still running strong without any issues.

Hey man! Sorry for the question, but how do you stop recording/start looping the pattern? I was wondering if it would be possible to preset a key on launchpad to record for only 1 bar, so that I could use live instruments!
pretty sure that is how it is being done. he looks to have made 4 beat and 8 beat loops. im sure you could make whatever you please
