These levels were my absolute favorite out of the whole series. When I was young I was just kinda obsessed with the whole egyptian thing and really enjoyed to discover those Sphinx thingys. Even had a nightmare about the mummy in the cuffin crushin' down on me just like it would do with crash.

Cilatorc Even as a kid those levels were too easy since you had most of the new powers. I just enjoyed those gimmicks that the 1st 2 Egypt levels lacked.
Omg I found this crash song finally. I remember playing some crash game when i was like 4 or 5, about 10 years after that I got this song into my head, then for over 5 years occasionally this song would appear in my brain. But I never could remember from which crash it was, today after another episode of brain memory i decided to watch every single crash game ost chronologically and boom found it. Incredible feeling, now my brain can leave me alone after 5+ years.

I really hate what they did to the music in the chase levels in Crash 2, and the boss themes as well. They really should have just brought Mancell back to handle those, or maybe used the pre-console versions, re-recording the music and altering them the way they did was by far the biggest mistake about the N Sane Trilogy..... although I wish they had brought Clancy Brown back to voice Cortex as well, would have been interesting to hear him in the role for the first Crash. Lang does a good impression of Clancy, but it's not the same.
Robo Cop nothing at all. Im satisfied but I can't wait until it comes out for steam. Ppl are gonna put the original soundtrack on it. Thatd be nice to hear and see
Yeah they really gutted the music. Most of the remastered tracks don't hold a candle to the originals and completely miss the original vibe of the song. It's especially noticeable in Crash 1 where creepy/dark tracks like Slipperly Climb and Generator Room completely lose their edge and become way more cheerful. I wish they did what they did with Spyro and gave us the option to listen to the original music.
The egyptian levels are difficult when I was a kid, the annoying mummy stomping with spikes are the loudest here, not to mention the blocks that from the ceiling
I unfortunately didn't get to play this game as much as the first two games but the level design for each level was superb with an epic soundtrack to go with it. Definitely want to play this classic again.
I used to listen to these soundtracks from this particular channel back in the winter 2010 because I wanted to play Crash 3 so bad but didn't have a Ps1 or the game itself. Memories.
I can still see Crash having that huge smile when he is trying to get through the oil filled area. Or him getting crushed. All the death scenes where fantastic!!

I accidentally got a Platinum Relic on Tomb Wader when I was younger, and my friend said it was the best Relic to get. I took that as "Platinum Relics are the required ones." I got every Platinum, it costed a few sets of thumbs. Until I looked up that GOLD relics were the required ones while Platinum were just bragging rights.
The first thoughts I have when I hear this music, "Can you make it to the stairs yet Crash? Hmmmm I think you can now run! *water fills up the room* No Crash run back and jump on the platform! Hurry" Crash: "WHOA" Too late..... Good times
I like this song alot so it reminds me of my Grandfather Raymond he learn about Mesopotamian and Ancient Egyptian also I had a Geography class in highschool I learned about the Sphinx, and I did a project on it so It was towards my grade so I got a 400/375 so I got some extra credit and literally I had some sources in my classroom but I went on a trip too Cairo Egypt like a few years ago so I had this class when I was in ninth grade but my school was Canyon View High School.

I still think the graphics are better than all the newer Crash Bandicoots. Old Crash's graphics were never focused on realism. They were beautiful, whimsical and just amazing to look at. Naughty dog made even leaky sewage pipes beautiful to look at.
These levels pissed me off so goddamn much as I kid. I hated this music when was pissed but despite that, hearing again now after all these years brings back fond memories. If nothing else I can laugh at how much I sucked back then xD
