In today's video we take a look at one of the most popular apps used to buy Japanese Pokemon Cards - SNKRDUNK. This app features not only sneakers, but some of the most popular Japanese Booster Boxes and Singles of the hottest Pokemon Cards in Japan. While SNKRDUNK features many good deals, as well as the guarantee of authenticity, is it actually safe to buy Pokemon Cards? I tested 100 loose packs of Eevee Heroes to see if I was Scammed or not!

Danny - Look up the TH-camr "P4C", video titled "Exposing the Secrets of Pokémon Card Packs with a Metal Detector!" Guy shows that, with a calibrated metal detector, you can with high accuracy determine which loose JP non-high class packs have a foil card and which do not. Loose JP non-high class packs are to be avoided entirely unless you buy them directly from Pokemon Center Japan.

“Getting the bad packs off the markets” is just supporting and encouraging them to continue this stuff(if it is a scam).

Loose packs are definitely scams...You might get a few RR but that's about it. All the good stuffs have been weighed and filtered off
Never ever ever buy loose packs at all.
Especially not Japanese it's been proven that you can metal detector the packs to sort out which ones have hits in them. Since unlike American packs they don't come with a guaranteed reverse holo in every pack

Danny sells loose packs sometimes on his website. Definitely trust him enough to buy loose packs, guys as hinest as they come. Definitely don't buy from someone random.

Pretty much any Pokemon product connected to a sneaker seller is going to be a scam in some fashion.
I've bought many slabs and sealed boxes from them and no issues at all. They authenticate booster boxes, but obviously with loose packs they don't know they were already searched or weighed.
Yeah I’ve bought 60+ booster boxes of 151 from SNKRDUNK, no issues.

They're scammers looking to make the most profit possible. They obviously weigh the packs looking for any god packs or SAR.
Yes. This is what they’ve always done. It is common knowledge that loose packs in Japanese Pokémon are just leftovers
I would've been curious to see exactly how many boxes these packs came from. There is a 'serial' number under the flap. The number will be the same for the whole box.

I'm a Japanese user
For the Japanese version of Pokemon card packs, instead of using a metal detector to detect rare cards, there is a way to examine all five cards included in one pack.
Therefore, do not buy a pack with the intention of opening it.
Please be sure to purchase an unopened box from a trusted seller.
*This is not to say that SNKRDUNK is an unreliable seller.

I won't go into details, but in Japan, each pack contains 5 pieces, so the problem is that they are "thin".

Same with Japanese 151 packs. Would love to be able to buy some here and there but if not buying the full box, it's highly unlikely any big pull will happen.

You can get a double hit box for Japanese but they’re rare. Usually it’s a regular full art and a gold/rainbow. As demonstrated don’t buy loose packs unless they’re for the sealed collection
Japanese packs are def weighable. They open the heavy packs and sell off the loose light ones.
I only buy loose packs of english cards from a few reputable sources including your site. But the list is short and I don't go older than SWSH with loose packs.

I would never buy loose packs because of the reason you explained. The people who buy these loose are probably looking to resell saying they are from a fresh booster box to rescam. You can buy booster boxes that don’t have the plastic seal as well which are more than likely the same thing at a cheaper cost than a legit sealed box.

I only specifically buy loose packs from certain people. Other than that for Japanese packs I usually don't indulge

you do get hosed a lot more on loose packs. ive bought mine from random sellers direct(japan shops often will mix the boxes and hand the card packs to you). IF the resellers dont search or weigh packs you might get lucky.
This is why I always say not to buy lose Japanese. People run the box until they pull the SSR and sell the rest of the loose packs.
This is why you dont buy lose Japanese packs….. yet i see them all the time here in the UK on ebay. Its maddening….. 100% its parents buying the odd pack here and there for kids, propping up this sham…..

Do not ever and I mean ever buy Japanese loose packs. They are the easiest thing too weigh in the Pocket Monster TCG.

This is sadly similar to what it was like for me to open a SEALED CASE of Evolving Skies booster boxes -- 3 of the sealed booster boxes netted me a rainbow GARBADOR and full art, some vmax yawners, and a Cave secret rare (oh, yah...forgot...i ended up getting several dupes!). I never opened the last 3 boxes -- I traded one away and the last 2 are sitting in my locker. I despise Evolving Skies/Eevee Heroes. Should have just bought the moonbreon. 😢
