Everyone thought Marvel vs Capcom 2 was the craziest crossover roster we would ever see but Sakurai has basically done the impossible, Disney doesn't even play nice with Square and they made Kingdom Hearts. Everyone acting salty needs to step back and realize, they will never see a roster anywhere close to this again in their lives. This game is beyond insane.
Imagine getting salty over a character being in a video game.
@@muffetmissulena6540 It's actually sad to see people disregard how crazy this roster is just because they didn't get their character in the final spot. Honestly, it kinda couldn't have been anyone but Sora if they could get him, he's been the most requested character since Brawl was announced, during the Smash ballot, even without official results, basically every poll taken in both the East and the West had Sora in the top 2, but I literally saw people in chat mad that it wasn't Jonesy... The lack of self awareness is wild.
@@mismismism yeah like i didn't get my top 3: waluigi, phoenix wright, and tracer, but i can also be happy for the people who wanted sora for years, and this is truly the biggest send off they could do

Fun fact: Sony actually tried convincing Disney and Square-Enix multiple times to let Sora join PSASBR as a DLC character! But they both refused as they felt Sora would stick out like a sore thumb being wedged into a character roster primarily known for its Blood/overly mature rated culture and didn't believe he'd fit in properly. And honestly, I think Square-Enix and Disney especially, trusted Nintendo more than Sony when it came to proper character development, implementation and care!
Sora is literally the hardest character to get into the game and they did it ❤️

Tbh all it is in my mind now a day later after this bomb is that Squareenix has to be in good terms with Nintendo and that probably means a MarioRPG2 (i know paper mario was named that before launch but you know what i mean)
@@Ralkila the truth was it was a Joint Effort between Nintendo and Square Enix to convince Disney for Sora to join. While Nomura and Sakurai talked to the Broad of Directors of Disney. Mario and Mickey threw hands. With Mario winning the fight. NINTENDO proved to be Disney's Equal in the Video Game Industry.

Sora was the most requested for 9 years, but it was recently (as in, at some point in between 2015 and 2021) that Sakurai had the chance to approach a Disney representative at an Award Show and pitched in the idea of Sora in Smash. The Disney rep said "You know what? Let's talk about it" and that's why Fighter Pass 2 had 6 fighters. It was supposed to only have five, but Sora was basically a last-minute bonus

This historic moment also marked the end of an era.
Sora's Keyblade recognized Mario as being a parallel to Mickey Mouse. Thus, the Keyblade was calling on Mario to unlock the way for light to ignite the darkness away in order to unlock Sora, but also to set everyone free from their trophy like state!

Simple, the Keyblade recognized Mario being parallel to Mickey Mouse. Thus, it called on Mario to be the one to unlock the light back into Smash in order to unlock Sora into the game!

The more i see the trailer and the more i see people excited for him it just gets me teary eyed. Like, i wasn't always on board for Sora getting in cause of the nightmare getting him in would have been, but i was alway supportive to the idea being a fan of the series.

I've watched a lot of reactions and yours seems honestly genuine considering your channel is basically dedicated to kh. Kh 1 was the first ps2 game I ever got for Christmas. I've been a lifetime fan ever since and seeing this happen is beyond amazing!

41:46 Looking back at this trailer, this moment was so perfect. "There are many worlds, but they all share the same sky." Sora being the Japanese word for sky, having Sora in front of the skies of all these different worlds was great.

Mario made the impossible for unleashing the Keyblade and opening the door to let Sora into the biggest crossover fighting game in history after travelling to each Disney world. Best reveal moment ever from all previous DLC fighters and the greatest gift to fans for the 20th Anniversary of Kingdom Hearts!
In the Super Smash Bros reveal, they should've had one of the characters say "Sora, what took you so long?" and Sora would say "Long story, legal reasons"
I barely know who Sora is and even I know the huge magnitude it took for Nintendo to collab with Disney.

My kingdom hearts theory senses are tingling.
Well, it happened. Amazing.
I missed the initial reveal because I woke up 10 minutes late. But I wasn't exactly spoiled. I turned on my phone, opened YT, and pulled up the live to see Sora standing across from Mario. I nearly dropped my phone from shock and immediately told my roommate "they actually fucking did it". Then went to class 😂. Watching reactions like this one later that day genuienly made me teary eyed. Sora was my most wanted although I've always been rather indifferent. I would've been fine with anyone because I honestly don't care who gets in Smash. But the people breaking down crying made me want to do the same.
Imagine how many legal loopholes it took to get Sora in smash.
But it was worth it and I'm so happy!
