This is by far the best video for this forsaken headlight!! I nearly screamed cuz everyone have the rotational lock for the bulb but this metal construction nearly broke my sanity! THANK YOU SO MUCH, MAN!!
It’s this sort of attention to detail that we need from you tubers that clip detail makes you a teacher in the best sense. It was just what I needed to know you deserve the view count I rarely subscribe but I am now.
Thank you ! I was just swearing like Happy Gilmore when that thing popped off and I couldn’t figure how it went back in. My neighbors and myself appreciate you!
Just checked this out on my 2015 Honda Fit and the news is that instead of a "holder" on the left side like thomsonsoccer12's car has, the spring-clip for my car is held down with a screw. So the spring clip can't fall off and get lost somewhere down below. No need to remove the screw or the spring clip; it just swings out; after you put your new bulb back in you just push the clip back into the slot on the right side. My headlight assembly, like thomsonsoccer12's, says "Stanley" on it. If you don't want to shorten the life of your new bulb, don't forget to keep your fingers off of the glass part of the bulb! And its a good idea to put a very thin film of grease on the 3 electrical connectors, to prevent corrosion.
Cheers mate' "quick' straight to the point' and exactly how a DIY DEMO should be, we need more of this kind of access in AUSTRALIA so its given me an idea, your a gun,.
These metal wires & install are harder than any other repair. Radiator, powersteering, fender panel install, render lines all easy compared to putting a bulb in these housings!

Yessir. Glad I could help

simont190 Well said, thank you.
Looks like you changed ur bulb 😛
Your video made it easy, plenty of light on the operation, and repeating each step is the best method. Thanks!
Thank you! I watched a lot of videos but yours was the only one which clearly showed how that darned retainer clip goes back in. Nicely done.

Thanks you, you help me big time, I drop that stupid clip while replacing the bulb, and I could not put back again until I show your video.
I've been trying to get that clip off for about half an hour!! In the rain was driving me mad. So thanks mate 👍
THANKS, friend.... I couldn't get it till I saw your video. And God helped me place the bulb back in right.
Glad I could help and you got it taken care of

Best description I've seen so far about how to get the stupid spring-clip on and off! Nice closeup view too.
Theodore Zuckerman yeah I went through it before with the light mounted. Figured it may help someone and easy to show with the light off. Thumbs up! 👍
Because of you, my headlights are now installed correctly. Thank you! and I'm sure the other drivers appreciate it, as well.
ty bro. this is where i got stuck at this part yoir video was very helpful.
You’re welcome
How come 55 dislkes? It's a pain on my car. I'd have to be IN THE ENGINE BAY to see it. Thanks very much!
Thanks for the detailed explanation and footage of the hold down clip, that is all I was looking for.
This video just saved me a lot of time and headache. That damn clip was messin with me!!! Lol thank you bro!
Thanks mate. Got me out of a hole!
Thanks old mate ,
Gaz Australia.
Saved me time trying to figure that one out. I took the retainer off before looking that it had to go in that slot first 🤦♂️
Best instructions on TH-cam by far. Clear detailed instructions and great close ups, no rushing. Saved to my favourites:) Cheers
im so glad i found this, helped me so much!!!😅
Your demo Correct and good guidance. Thanks a lot.
Did you find the clip doesn't hold the bulb housing in tight.
I have not run across that situation. Maybe your clip is bent from a previous incorrect installation.
Dude. I ran into the same problem. Thank you
Thanks a lot.. this helped me fix my car headlight when I was really struggling..

Which connection is which? Like which one is negative and which has 2x positive wires going to it??
OGz Pinky wiring of the bulb or harness is not covered in this video. Search H4 light bulb pinout.
lol you saved a lot of people from loosing there sanity
Thanks from Australia mate, about to see if this works upside down too..
Hopefully all goes good
No worries, all done. Very helpful demo and now tested upside down, Cheers :)

Hahahaha
Thank you, thank you! This was driving me nutts🙏🙏🙏
Yes ma’am, you’re welcome
Thanks! That's just saved me a right headache.
Good Close up of the clip good job
This video saved my life
Is it okay if i put the bulb upside down? Like the horizontal contact is at the bottom instead of being on top
As long as the bulb is held securely, you should be good. The power wire should only be able to be plugged in one way
thomsonsoccer12 would it change the focus of the light?
No focus is done by the housing
alright! Thanks man
Dude this video saved me
There is a special place in hell for the dude that designed that clip to fall off.
very clear, thanks!
Well done!
Lifesaver mate, cheers!
Thanks Man!!
Thank you so much
What the hell is wrong with these car and truck manufacturers used to be so simple.
