A ground we've found incredibly difficult to find points at for a number of years now. Sure, we weren't the best we've ever been, but really this represents a good win and early in the season. I had real worries about coming to Goodison so super chuffed to see the 3pts. KTBFFH!

Great win....but don't forget Lampard our legend for bringing up and developing players like mount,james,chilwell,silva,mendy, havertz etc.
Trying so hard to credit Lampard when he is almost 2 seasons out of the club.
Secondly he didn't develop the players you mentioned. He gave Mount and James the chance in Chelsea and we thank him for that but he didn't bring them up and those 2 players are still developing.

What do some people expect, 1st game of the season, a 1-0 win awsy and some are moaning already . Stirling was good ,koulibaly 👍. Fitness will come and so will the performances

Mount need to play in the middle with sterling and broja or havertz in front of him. Then kovacic and kante should be the pivot (Gallagher maybe during less important games or coming off the bench)

Match day 1 is always hard every team has a fresh start new signings that need time to gel in a little of sloppy moments in our defence but overall glad with the 3 points a little undeserved i think everton deserved a point against us but im glad they didnt get it on to the next game gotta be careful spurs they finish off those sloppy mistakes so lets hope for the best

I’m very worried where we gonna finish this season…I mean our attackers will get the ball forward and then pass the ball back, it’s very irritating. Our forwards need a lil bit of attacking mentality if not, thing are gonna be rough!
I’m sorry but J5 isn’t our solution in the middle, he couldn’t make any single successful forward Pass, the only successful passes that he made is only backwards , and also Reece James I don’t know what happened to him but he’s constantly out of position leaving azpi doing double job
We should use hudson odoi to be our wingback, moving forward to be a fight winger, which lets mount move inside and create more chances be shifting into a 4231 when dealing with weaker teams

Chelsea lacked creativity in the first half of the match, so I believe Tuchel should try Cucurella as a Central Defensive Midfielder because he is a great passer, precise, and sharp. Maybe he can make a great through ball to our forward. In addition, I believe he can be a long-term replacement for Kante. Consider De jong/Matheus Nunes x Cucurella as our Engine. That would be fantastic!!!!!
I am not here to defend J5 and he has his own weak points but I really believe the hate to J5 is biased and unfair and forward pass is not the one. The forward passes need the other team to move around and free themselves while they didn't do in this game. If you want to state something true, just take a moment and search "number of forwarding passes by Chelsea players" and you'll see he is #1 in that list. I want to point out something else that proves my point. Just take a look at this game and you'd see Kante didn't do anything. Not even a single forward pass (while you can see J5 did even in this highlight). He didn't even have a forward run while his front was open. But the point is that Kante is our best player and one of the best in the world but no one even talks about this. Anyone who knows about professional management would know what J5 does to a team transition. All I am saying is that people should stop being biased toward liking or disliking a player.
@@ehsannadjarantoosi3391 J5 cannot lift us to the same level as Manchester City or Liverpool; if we want to be the best in the world, we cannot rely on J5. Matheus Nunes, in my opinion, can outperform J5 in Chelsea. I think it would be fantastic if I could pick Fabregas and Costa in their prime and put them in our current starting lineup. Kante is one of the best cdm in the world, but it is worthwhile to try playing Cucurella as cdm and then pairing him with someone like Nunes or De Jong. Cucurella is very quick with the ball, and his pass is beyond our imagination. We have no idea where the ball will land.
