- Hello!! Finally, after almost 2 months, I am uploading a new vid!! And it's a new series on top of that! How yoysome. ;D
Essentially, this AU has Mia Fey surviving her encounter with Redd White. The majority of Turnabout Sisters' plot is the same, but there's some familiar faces! One even replaces a certain character...
Part 1 relatively focuses on Phoenix finding evidence for Maya's innocence, although Mia is up to something... off-camera, of course. (If you want to see some other neat Turnabout Sisters stuff, check out @MantisFey and @icecoldkremit, they've made some neat stuff with the case!)
This specific part was in collaboration with @irongenicconduit3792, who made the med kit evidence and around the first 9 minutes of the episode (I edited it ofc), and was the one who came up with the idea and how it plays out! Check their channel out: / @irongenicconduit3792

I love this approach so far; even though Maya would only be facing a battery charge, in watching this it STILL feels like she's getting a murder charge with Mia toeing the line of not getting involved. A 'death' through forced silence.

Despite Valerie being here immediately catching my attention, I would be lying if I didn’t say the lack of Gumshoe made me a little sad.

while Mia's involvement is way too minimal so far rendering the concept a bit pointless (again, so far), I don't regret watching this video cuz I love your take on 1-2 with the new characters and interactions, this final scene with Maya asking Phoenix to defend her was so wholesome! good job, keep going! gotta go watch the rest of the series now lol

You have no idea how much I threw up writing that garbage.
You know, I found it odd that Mia wouldn't want Phoenix to defend Maya, thus going to the detention center to tell Maya not to accept his defense, but in retrospect it makes sense.
Mia had faith in Phoenix in the original timeline, but we have to remember that Maya was her sister... no matter how much potential he had, he was just a rookie. Of course Mia would want someone with experience to defend Maya, you know?
Anyways the video was great, it has that Shu Takumi writing with your signature writing mixed in there too, which is a great combo... I'm looking forward to the trial :3

Yeah, some people don't get how Valerie could be alive or why Maya should even be arrested here... it's kind of dumb but I get it lol.
@@razorrat11 Well while the Valerie question is a little tricky, the simple explanation would be that Dahlia simply doesn’t murder Valerie, or maybe Valerie herself survived Dahlia’s attack and things went the way they did in 3-4.
Maya being arrested is more obvious… she assaulted someone duhh. Assault is still a criminal offense. :P

Nice video. I must say, that I thinked that Mia will testify against White, when Phoenix help her but that was the biggest plot twist of all. Hope the next part is also good.

Eh... Question. Why is Maya being arrested anyway? Mia didn't die and she didn't press charges. And she also denied that it was Maya who attacked her. I'd say that the victim's testimony should always be key in what happened during a trial. Especially if the victim claims that the attacker wasn't the suspect
Well, Redd's plan still plays out in this scenario. Redd expected Mia to die and all... And April May was still ordered to call the police and all that.
It's not a matter of someone dying or if Maya did or did not attack Mia. There was clearly an assault still, and the police and court have to hear both sides of the story.
Mia denying Maya attacking her wouldn't do anything either, since there's obviously April May who "saw" the thing play out, and the police very well could believe that Mia may just be misremembering things since, well, she was literally assaulted just a while ago.
Maya being arrested makes sense to me. And there's no Turnabout Sisters if Maya wasn't arrested, lol. 😭

Greetings! I've watched the entirety of this first part and while I was entertained... I have my gripes with the part where Valerie arrested Maya immediately knowing that the Mia the victim could defend her and could also disprove the lies of April May the witness. The only explanation I cant think of is that Mia is treading carefully against Redd White because she knows how devious Redd White is with his methods. But I still have my gripes with Valerie arresting Maya just because of the "Written Name"
Yeah... Honestly, I was going to have Valerie be a bit more suspicious about whether the written name was actually legit or not, but I ended up going the Gumshoe route because I kind of needed Maya to be arrested already, and my collab partner made that scene anyways so yeah.
Its odd that they dont listen to mia, like,
"guys, my sister didnt hit me."
"nah, your sister def hit you, we're arresting her. you cant defend her in court btw."
