Hell yes, Jim Morrison's voice sounds raw as hell, and the guitar solo is sick as hell. Ray's funky chord changes and the bass droning along with Densmore's drumming. Awesome.
Do I know you? I'm not sure what you're trying to get across, but I was complimenting the song because I love the Doors. Perhaps you misunderstood what I was trying to say. Peace.

think doors to me are ultimately what Jim has in interviews about the band's purpose of opening your mind somewhere else (no matter where) has turned out to be true over the years. I need their sound I literally need Jim's voice like a dorga, a drug that spreads throughout the body and cradles it and makes it feel good especially in dark moments. Thanks Jim thanks THe Doors.

Usually out-takes are just that; versions not good enough for album release. This one is. I'd go so far as to say it is superior to the album version. Goes to show how much more The DOORS had to give before their untimely demise.
They hit it big on their very first album. Not a single bad or even mediocre cut on the whole 1st album & not even the Beatles did that. One of the top songs by America's most original Rock group ever. 50 years & counting, their classic music lives.
@@meyou-dv8ns That's YOUR opinion. MY opinion is the DOORs had way more talent, they rocked! The Beatles early songs, "I wanna hold your hand?" not much thought in those kind of lyrics. The teeny boppers liked them. Later on, when the Beatles "found themselves" with illicit substances, they're music changed. The Doors were great from the get-go. JIm Morrison type voices are impossible to find. He didn't sing at you, he sang through you. RIP Jim.
The Doors - the most relevant American rock band of the 60's and 70's bar none! Only the British Invasion bands of the era eclipsed the Doors in terms of relevance and a lasting musical legacy.
Shit! You should warn viewers that Jim Morrison screams at the beginning of the song. I had my earpieces on. I have to go and take a shower now, damn it.
from :03- :07 jim really taps into his va/fl upbringing. at times the southern influence really came out in his voice. in fact, at :07, he sounded a lot like presley.
One of my all-time favorite door songs.. this version is enjoyable from the early stages of a song idea... The album version is much superior,. Krieger's magnificent two guitar solo is really botched in this version.. my guess is that on album version they composed as opposed to letting Krieger noodle aimlessly

The Doors had RAW POWER every time they came to play… Got to love them…✌️
4 years! That's it. That's how long this band was around. Just look at what they accomplished in such a short time.
Psychedelics make people creative. Plus they were all educated so they had a lot of material to work with.
Then you killed him in his bathtub. Why?
If Jim had made it to 500 lbs
same as Hendrix ,,, something special about those days
