  • Hello guys and gals, it's me Mutahar again! KSI recently said something that probably should have been left on the cutting room floor. I'm always one to see a good apology video but to see it so overdone like this is just hilarious. Thanks for watching!

When PewDiePie said the bad word, he was asked to do the rounds 'learning about the community' affected by the bad words - but he chose not to and gave a pretty reasonable explanation - he felt that doing so would be so disingenuous because the the situation was still very raw. He stuck with a sincere apology and an acknowlegdement that his use of the word was unacceptable in all contexts, and took the L to his reputation rather than going through an attempt at a redemption arc that would ultimately be about him and not the people he hurt.

You can use certain words described in context of any situation with no intent of offending anybody (if you feel comfortable enough to do it) but you still don't get to say it out of genuine hatred.
The clip of JJ saying "I don't mean this maliciously" completely blows this entire argument down and some people just want to completely ignore it or just can't wrapped their heads around it.

I always find it hilarious that the "P" word literally means "pure". The fact that it's used as a racial slur for many years reflects the intelligence of those who've coined it.
Edit: Reading the comments below, I'd like to add some context for those of you who are new to the "P" word. This may also help you figure out why KSI is dancing about more than usual.
You see, Muslims and Hindus in India have not always been on great terms. So when a group of Muslims had enough, they decided to found their own nation and called it "Pakistan". The the word 'Pakistan' means "the land of the pure" (Pak: pure, -stan: region), although there are other interpretations as well. With that name, they were proclaiming to be "pure" of the idolatry and the worship of false gods that they believed Hindus were practicing.
So, basically, the P word, means "pure" or rather _someone who hails from "Pakistan"._ If you haven't heard it before, there's a good chance you are not from the UK. You see, UK has a large population of Muslims who come from the middle east. So, when the P word is thrown at them, it's meant to imply that they are from an inferior race due to their skin color, an "untermensch" if you will, even though people from Pakistan would proudly refer to themselves as Pakistanis. It's all about the context, as most things are.
However, as mentioned, there is also a religious connotation to the P word, an Islamic one at that. That's why you see KSI is visiting mosques and Imams to atone for his sins 😄

Tie words to history and have people still use them in negative context today then that'll never happen. As long as people use certain words when trying to be offensive the longer it'll stay a "bad word". I meam the word snowflake got turned into a confrontational word because of how people used it... same with r**ard and all that jazz. Using something in a negative context turns the word negative... not that hard a concept to grasp. And if you think "people are just too sensitive nowadays" remember that people used to duel with pistols to the death over words. Something as little as calling another man small was means for two huys to go out and shoot eachother to death. People are inherently emotional, even those that think they arent snowflakes just complain about shit all the time from the other side... mostly fueled on emotions....

Unlike probably most of your viewers, I've actually been to Pakistan three times, for a total of about a month. Although I am a Orthodox Christian (by birth only, I choose to be an atheist), I must say I was surprised how the people there made me feel more welcome each time I went. I got along with everyone, more than I did with people in, let's say Japan, for example. I can honestly say that I even made a couple of friends during my few short business trips there. I love the food, I love the people and I would gladly go again, if given the chance. Of course, I believe someone else may have had bad experiences going there, but I never did. So I get pretty frustrated when people around me (in my home country) presume many bad things about the country, just because of what they heard on the news. Racism sucks! Don't be one those people!

Minorities in Pakistan are actually treated pretty badly. If you look at their census data, their minority religious groups have been decreasing each year.

@@-SP. I'm from Pakistan and I can confirm that is true. But I think Pakistani people shouldn't be blamed for it as it's not us but our fascist govts, it's because the fascists and the corrupt clergy of the country that the minorities have to face discrimination.
It's not part of our way, tradition or culture, but an active policy of the fascist regime to divert the attention to serious problems facing the country by sowing seeds of hate among the people.

People of every country are the same. It's just the government that is actually evil and the media that likes to highlight only the negativity as that generates more clicks

Sure, until you see how minorities of other religions and atheists are treated. Look at all of the instances of what happens when blasphemy allegedly happens.
