@@nielsrooiman772 Wrong. The sources you see claiming it's a different chassis are comparing it to the concept built by non-spec entities. Between Garage 56 and the current NG, pretty much all the changes have to do with endurance: different brakes, functioning lights, additional aero package, lighter weight. All of the specs and data collected were made available to other NASCAR teams to prevent Hendrick getting an advantage in coming years. They even made a spec comparison PDF for public download.
The chassis, suspension, motor (ECR Chevy), are all still cup spec, and all still American made. And it performed beautifully.

24:17 is a hilarious series of events, because you get a BEAUTIFUL sounding rally car that leaves a huge smoke cloud, and then immediately following that, an electric rally car comes in and does the same thing, with absolutely no noise at all. You can even hear a person in the background coughing. What a difference the beautiful sound of an engine can make in a stunt like that.

@@Kenethdj the WRC1 ones is a different engine, it’s an inline 4 and crazy anti lag system, pretty heavily modified. I’m not sure about the other ones but I doubt those were stock

Love the people that do interesting turn arounds. They not just here to drive and show off a car, they're here to put on a show.
I assume not everyone knows how to whip their car around safely, or even wanna risk it especially in the vintage cars

The skill of the rally drivers and drifters are insane..... and on the other hand the lack of driving skill in some of these cars is scary
1. They don't wanna look stupid
2. Could u imagine being the guy who wrecks his car trying to do a donut when all he had to do was go around the circle.
3. Some of them have never owned a POS like most of us which we would beat on until the plugs are fouled.
4 some of those cars aren't set up to drift in circles
