Thanks for sharing! We're also in the power seat camp, so there are fewer TH-cam videos sharing how they approached the challenges they face. Seems the Amazing Auto swivels work way better for us because of the wiring that the manual seats don't have to deal with (so they commonly install the Scopema ones, which seem fine for them, but look to have clearance issues for us).

Thank you for making this video to help people!!! I literally just finished AA my install on power seats **I got the AA swivel made for the power seats...then found your video...my install was almost too easy...so I am am watching videos to see if I unknowingly screwed up somehow....as far as your washer/ power seat issue....I used the removed OEM ford bolts from the seat/ base to attach the seat to the swivel, no washers...and had ZERO issues with movement. Use the provided AA bolts to attach the swivel to the base and then the ford bolts (the bolts you removed the seat with) and provided nylon nuts to attach the seat to the swivel with NO WASHERS between the bolt and the the seat track. I didn't have to do any drilling new holes to anything...the washers as noted blow should go between the swivel and the seat rails to compensate for the retainer pin spacing. ***I bought and received my AA power seat swivel July '22

Thank You JD for the feedback and for watching! Completely agree on the washers - it’s always funny how hindsight is 20/20.

Nice video. I just installed these same swivels on my 2022 van yesterday, wish I had of seen this before I did!. Your video has just shown me that the vendor sent me two passenger seats and on one they put a sticker saying to install the driver's side upside down. It works but the handle release doesn't move with the seat, its awkward, I reached out to the vendor to request a proper driver's seat like you got. So anyways thanks for the clear video, really helpful. For others watching, you don't have to cut the washers, the washers should be placed under the seat track and above the swivel that way they don't interfere with the slide mechanism. Also good catch on figuring out the washer on the retaining pin thing. Having your washers all between the seat rail and swivel allows a level clamping surface too - one at each of the four bolts and one on each of the retaining pin things (6 total).. The manufacturer should really include some clear printed instructions with these so we aren't all having to improvise as we go, his videos are pretty unclear. they spend more time showing you the socket they use than explaining these details you provided. I did the same as you on the driver's side. Popped the power cable and grommet out and routed under the red battery cable and brought the wiring out from between the dual batteries. The swivel bolts rub on my plastic battery cover. Maybe because mine is installed upside down? I used a 3" hole saw to cut a large opening in the plastic battery cover and routed my power cable up through that and taped around the hole and cable for extra protection. Great job on the video, super helpful.

Hi Robin - thank you for the reply! Agreed on the cutting of washers, I thought through it in a a little more detail afterwards and realized I could have done it differently. We had originally thought we received the incorrect swivels as well (for a Promaster & not a Transit) but it all worked out in the end.
One other note, on the drivers side, I notice that if we adjust the seat to the forward most position it pulls the wires (for the power seat) rather tight, and I do my best to remember that when adjusting the seat. Perhaps this could be solved w/ drilling the hole you mention in the battery cover to better re-route the wire.
Thank you again for the comments and for watching!

Thanks! I'm ordering my van, and I was really wondering if you can tell me how important the Power Seats are to order. Are they really nice? Worth the $990 addition? I'm thinking they give you seat heaters and lumbar, but are they better quality or more comfortable than the manual version? Is it really slow or annoying to adjust the seat quickly enough to swivel them around? (Power seats are slower). Thanks!

Is the cutting for that particular chair only or all chairs options from the Transit?
