Have you tried to swap out Ensnaring Arrow for Purifying Touch? The Healing Touch skill specialization with Purifying Touch every 15 seconds could be another way to cycle in HoTs on targets. Those who you would be purifying would also need heals more than likely.

Also curious on your thoughts around Chaotic Shield defense skill instead of Overtaker? The Chaotic Shield heal on defensive block could add some extra heals to the arena where it was otherwise lost after the patch. Not to mention the replenish on stam for encounters where you are being targeted. Curious on your thoughts around this
I play SNS/GS here if you want to avoid being push off terrain the best bet is to stay near the short steps or a wall. The short steps very often stop the push entirely. Being near a wall if a trade off if you get pushed into a wall get get stunned but the stun is very short and you trading being removed from the fight for 1-2 seconds vs the 6+ it takes to get back up.
The shield change is actually a buff imo. Any good crossbow / dagger stopped using weaken a long time ago, in gvg the old iteration of this passive barely ever procs. This version will at least give you a second to react.
Once the changes were made public a couple weeks ago I instantly swapped to dagger/wand and never looked back. Bow/wand healer needed a full support skill setup to be viable esp in gvg due to the utility of the kit far outweighing the smaller damage potential making gameplay imo super boring, limiting our kit further with SH and HT sharing a cd just sounded awful and looks like what I expected it to be. RIP bow/wand, I’d recommend going staff wand if you still want to be a competitive healer or sns or dagger wand to fill a certain role for gvg.
I don’t think it’s ruined. I think now it’s just more balanced towards the pvp aspect of the game cuz before it was impossible to kill a healer. I’m sure new theory crafting and new rotations will come out to compensate.
@@strauss_the change is pita, not gonna lie, but now still had 2 strong hots (3 if you use blitz also). I think any respectable healer will stick to wand/bow, is still having the most possible heal output.
Yup exactly pvp is so bad with Wand/LB right now.. I'm planning on switching to Longbow/staff... Since i worked hard leveling the masteries on both..:/
@@Doddiripper imagine u have only two things which u can do with healers.. You can heal and heal, that's everything what u can do.. u do 0 dmg in mass pvp and they will take heal from the character. That's kinda nice move :))

You have to support your allies, and you can still do that on god tier. Before it was just overpowered, if its now to underpowered just wait for the next Patch to become more OP again.
Shield is actually a buff, no competent player was using weaken effects to give free shield. Now with this new shield it increases survival, specially against gs/dagger. Just need a tweak on cooldown, 60s is too much, 30s would be perfect.
Idk this move from them.. we have literally 40 healers on whole server. And delete one heal when this character with heal can only heal and do literraly 0 dmg to you is insane. I know they want to push us to play diff weapons but there is not any other to play as full heal. And in the end it's freaking problem to get healers and they made this?
02:13 Wrong, Purifying Touch does not cleanse multiple weakens; just all the stacks of the same weaken. Like if you had 3 stacks of Touch of Dispair on you, previously you would only cleanse 1 stack.
Does anyone know how the devoted shield skill procs with Lequirus' tome invisibility? does the damage stop at 30% to make the shield and then once someone fights through that we still get the tome invis proc at 25?
As far as PvE healing if you were going to substitute either healing touch or swift heal for another ability what would you choose? I’m currently running your healing build from your S+ Tier PvE dungeon healing video from two weeks ago. 10/10 great build btw! I was considering subbing in clays salvation for one of them if I didn’t like how it all felt but idk yet

He doesn’t have clays on the hotbar so that’s the reason I was wondering if he would switch one out for clays and if so which one and why or if he’d recommend just dealing with the nerf without a swap

The main reason wand is getting nerf is because the healer heals way to fast and much. I know because I played SnS/wand. I mainly play SnS/GS. Wand can help you stay alive for a very long time. Especially if your a squishy player. All it takes is 2 of the 3 spam heals to veg you back into full health. Now imagine a SnS player. That’s 15-18 k health you gotta dps. Then the SnS heals. Now you got to do it all over again.

B/W isn't the #1 at all anymore and in KR where we are still a ways ahead there are further changes such as those to tornado, which have made the combo like a ghost. The devs DO NOT want traditional healer roles in the game, much like numerous other mmo's which are moving away from the idea. Having to repeat this so often is becoming quite tedious for us.
This nerf was so f ing stupid big clans already looking for healers, because most quit or changed weapons :)) last week they wanted 3.3-5k healers, now they want even 2.5... just shows how many quit the game or changed weapons :))

Post patch bow/wand so bad now. The heals are drastically reduced, the CD shared between touch and light makes it impossible to spot heal anyone who misses any mechanic now. This is extremely bad for 2star dungeons. Anyone who takes a hit that shouldn't just dies. I'm about to reroll pure dps and forget heal
You do something wrong. You still have the best healing class in game still after the nerfes. I heales every 2 star dungeon which is available ingame with staff/wand with no problem at all. You shouldnt have any problem either.

The big nerf is actually that they buffed staff users to apply a 80% less heal on a target. That’s the big nerf. Who heals the most? Wand users

Same... theyre gonna get the overwatch treatment when overwatch nerfed healers. All the dps and tanks get angry at healers not playing healer.

I totally feel the frustration. I am experimenting with a new build that helps with this change. Don't quit yet, we are still the best healers!!

I'm a wand/bow user and I agree on the shield being better now 😂 But do not lower the cooldown 1 min for having a saving grace is enough.

Stack collision resistance and you will almost never get pushed or pulled.
Keep us updated with the healing touch sitch. i'm doubtful it's still viable together but keep us posted. there are some good other options

I replaced healing touch with curse and vampiric touch passive (instead of shield).
I changed bow for staff, really like infinite mana, use the nerf as excuse for that step
