In 1981 I was working a lower paying job and made about $800 a month. $1000 would not be very much for him to pay per month, especially in the lifestyle they were living.
Oh boy, I can hardly wait until cross examination. Does Durst think Lewin will suddenly have amnesia & forget all of Durst’s prior statements, completely contradicting this fairy tale?
RDs voice is much stronger when being interviewed by his defence lawyer, than it is, when he has to answer questions from the prosecuter. Just as his memory suddenly became "foggy" , when interviewed by the prosecuter. Also his hearing became remarkably troubled, when having to answer questions from the prosecuter. Just an observation 😉.
I guess they think they can rehabilitate Durst. They keep trying to humanize him, but it's impossible. A man who's talked his way out of everything in his life thinks it will always work that way for him. It won't.
He is condradicting so many statements he made in the Jinx and I think the strategy is going to be that he made up things in the Jinx for sensationalism and that he knew he still had his mic on in the final episode and he said "killed them all" for drama and shock value.
@@carlswanson2137 The prosecution is bringing his wife’s disappearance into all of this, and will say he was cruel and denied her an education/financial support. His attorney is trying to make him sound like the perfect supporting husband. It would be more believable if he admitted to being the a-hole he was at times.
Why isn’t Durst’s hair combed? Does unkempt hair make him more innocent? Why is there so much time being spent on everything but Susan Berman’s murder? Why isn’t there closed captioning on this channel?
The murder of his wife is what led to the murder of Susan Berman, because Susan allegedly knew to much and allegedly helped Durst with an aliby at the time of Kathys "disappearense".
Goodness..I cant remember what I did a week ago versus 30 to 40 years....His memory is remarkable and with his money and smarts....LOOK OUT.He will live to talk about this case, with details the rest of us will forget.
Oh man he loves to talk (Durst) I can’t imagine being his brother, Douglas, and having to put up with all of Robert’s shenanigans, threats to himself and to his family. Robert is definitely on some kind of far out spectrum.

This judge is so annoying. What a flake. He seems more interested in wanted to be perceived as zen rather than being in charge of a very serious case. He effort to be liked and accepted as cool is backfiring on him. Poser.
y'know, i really liked him in the beginning of the trial but this is getting ridiculous. what kind of judge lets a defendant ramble on about his entire life story and other irrelevant stories for days on end? I just can't imagine anyone else letting this slide. mr. lewin has been objecting less because the judge told him to tone it down in so many words, even though he recanted that. how annoying!

For a supposedly dying man, his memory is impeccable.
He’s discussed this a lot throughout his life!!

Absolutely 💯
me too. I wonder when it will start ?
Every answer is rehearsed and written for him
@@sandyober8210 how do you know ?
His lawyers prepared them to look good 😊
Pretty amazing stamina and testimony from a person who was on death's door only a few days ago according to his attorneys.
He is faking to be more sick like many others especially rich guys.
his memory is better than mine, that's for sure.
probably got him on a jail call that he was faking being on death's door
I’m not sure he is still alive.

The jury laughed when Durst said he didn't think All Good Things was a good film. That tells me that the attempt to humanize Durst could be working.

Will we get a new stream when they return from lunch???
Normally yes a new LIVE link will pop up. I can only watch snippets as he gives me the creeps. I'm waiting for Lewin to have his turn.
@@marthest-louis7128 Thanks, I can't stand the defense's endless monologue and what does Kathy's education info have to do with Susan's death???

So many of Durst lawyer's questions are irrelevant.
Where link for after lunch
How is this year by year history relevant ....anyone know who watched more of this trial ?
Who cares, its very entertaining and will make another good movie😆
They are trying to have someone in the jury believe him. They know their case is hopeless, and he thinks that he is the smartest person in the room.
I think they mean to bore the jury to death and cause a mistrial lol
How was any of the prosecution case relevant?
he BURPIN!
