Weird because I live off-grid in wilderness, closest neighbors are more than a mile away and they hate cats. We think she came from a community 6 miles from here and was able to survive predators and crossing a highway to get here. She found the right place! We love her.

Andy Ward Your instincts are right on. Can't speak for all goats, but the breeds I've known are intelligent, very clever and entertaining. The females are delicate and curious, and only when they have been bred do they stink for a while. The males are also intelligent , but smell wretched, are good natured but can be very destructive, and they mark on their own legs. Some owners swear they intentionally urinate on their own beards.
