Amit Kumar remained (Apart of few good songs) most under rated singer. While he performs live on stage, (when not singing) he used to act like Kishor Kumar Ji This big things pulls his leg back. He never even tried to come out of Kishor Kumar's Big shadow.
@@RatherPratty OK , This may be your point of view. But i have seen __Amit Kumar__ live in stage program . That time i saw him trying to be like Kishor Kumsr Ji by body language . I know Amit Kumar is a good singer . But in hindi film industry, most of star sons could never come out of their father's big shadow . Only Suny Deol is one exception. He is apart from his father Dharmendr's shadow from his very first film "BETAB"

I think Amit not being able to come out of his shadow was extremely likely since the beginning. Could be one reason why he acts like Kishore on stage. He once said that he wasn’t meant to carry his father’s legacy because Kishore always said that this industry is ridiculously brutal, it’ll leave you at your most vulnerable. In the 80s, he also copied Kishore’s voice quite a bit. I watched a live from ‘88 and noticed this. Amit has a radio podcast too and it’s all about his father; invited to interviews to talk about his father. Must’ve gone through a rough phase emotionally because of this.
Amit Kumar is a great singer who is charismatic, energetic but severely underrated. I also see a lot of of Kishore Kumar in him, especially Kishore'da's "Paglami". Love you Amit'da and miss you Kishore'da.

Kishore Kumar was one legendary phenomenon. He’s still worshipped to this day and has such a cult following. I think Amit not being able to come out of his shadow was extremely likely since the beginning. Could be one reason why he acts like Kishore on stage. He once said that he wasn’t meant to carry his father’s legacy because Kishore always said that this industry is ridiculously brutal, it’ll leave you at your most vulnerable. In the 80s, he also copied Kishore’s voice quite a bit. I watched a live from ‘88 and noticed this.
Amit has a radio podcast too and it’s all about his father; invited to interviews to talk about his father. Must’ve gone through a rough phase emotionally because of this.
Amit Kumar is a great singer who is charismatic, energetic but severely underrated. I also see a lot of of Kishore Kumar in him, especially Kishore'da's "Paglami". Love you Amit'da and miss you Kishore'da.
