Hahaha.....it's Sunday! You must still be tired from the night before LOL. You've never been on a 787? I've only been on the Qatar ones. Would love to fly other ones.

Yeah, I was surprised there haha. I really want to fly on an ANA 787...their cabin looks amazing! I am just trying to get enough miles together for that.

Yeah, Edinburgh is easily mistaken for Düsseldorf 🤣
Why are there jetbridges in EDI if they aren't used? Had the same during my trip to EDI, we parked at a stand with a jetbridge but we needed to deplane via stairs.
Hey HDH Aviation! This particular jetbridge leads into the departures hall only which is no good for arriving international flights. Hence, they deplane via the stairs. It's then a short walk to immigration. With the gates on the other side of the terminal, which were the original international gates, passengers can enter the immigration hall directly from the jetbridge.

May I ask i live in Scotland nearest airport being EDI but never flew to or from Doha did you half to go through UK border force or immigration passport control or something like that
Hey! When you leave the UK there is no physical border control, only when you return you have to go through passport control.

I think you are mistaking Qatar with Etihad. Etihad is pulling out of Edinburgh.

I just think food portions are minimal on Qatar....
That's true but at least they do two meal services on EDI-DOH. Emirates on GLA-DXB only does one meal service but the portions are bigger.
I have flown the emirates twice this year from Glasgow and back and both times were terrible. Food was discus ting. Love qatar
Emirates portions are smaller in my opinion.
